GolovaRaoul 221 Report post Posted October 14, 2017 (edited) Only more RAM. I wouldn't recommend to update to 64bit because you don't get a performance increase (atleast for Exile). Stick to 32 bit, that's my advise for you! Edited October 14, 2017 by GolovaRaoul

Stick to 32 bit, that's my advise for you! when im running my server on 64bit its use 20%~30% of CPU and if you said its take more RAM so its okay for my machine cuz i have 24GB ram to use. if you can recommend to me to make it work better i will be very happy to hear
Z80CPU 527 Report post Posted October 15, 2017 What you are trying to do is to compare a 4 cylinder gas engine to a 8 cylinder diesel engine. Yes, they both move your car, but do it differently. If you have 4gb of RAM or less, use a 32 bit CPU. If you have 4gb+ of RAM (or plan to), use a 64 bit CPU. There are MANY articles on the difference between a 32 bit and 64 bit CPU's - Go look them up. ARMA 32b will NOT use 4gb+ RAM due to the 32b limitations of the CPU. 64b will use 4gb+ of RAM. See: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/8869563/how-much-memory-can-be-accessed-by-a-32-bit-machine Use a 64b CPU, that is, unless you wish to 'live in the past'. 32 bit is yesterday...64 bit is tomorrow...and some what today as well... Some stuff is different with 64 bit, like database calls. You won't get any noticable performance increase if use 64 bit, it will only make things more complicated (especially for new arma server hosters, not sure if you're new or not) So my advise is stick to 32 bit, works perfect! Bob_the_K 105 Report post Posted October 16, 2017 I've switched to 64 bit across the board. It wasn't too hard at all once I read through the conversion/update process a few times to be sure I understood it. To continue the engine analogy, both the 4 cylinder and 8 cylinder will get you there, and maybe even at the same time if on flat roads. But the 8 cylinder will get you over the hills without losing speed as much as the 4 cylinder. 32 bit vs 64 bit is similar in that I've found my server performance to be performing more consistent whether under load or not. I still have performance variations - just not as much and not as significant.
