           Paying homage to the original drawbridge some of you might have seen in the early versions of Exile. It’s lockable and comes with a reinforced version as well.

    Awesome, love the construction items, would you consider introducing gender selection? I think that will be cool, maybe yes/no??
    I think the medical / health system could do with an upgrade as well. Bandages and pain killers should not increase health but rather stop further drop of health or  stop player shakes. Eating and more advanced ways of increasing health would be very welcomed instead . I think this would compliment the weather system and temperature introduced earlier but just feels unfinished with those touches :-)

    Gender selection has allready being answered by Eichi a while back, it was a no since it was pretty complicated.

    Eichi, has retired, I am asking the new group! It can't be that complicated or hard if Epoch have already implemented very early in their mod and it works well.

    Find someone who is willing to create a female version of every uniform out there and you are good to go - until then play FP only and pretend you have boobs.

    Eichi explained the reasoning very well in this post, and I completely agree with him.

    At this current point, we have no plans for female characters. We do hear the requests, just unfortunately cannot fulfill them.

    I am just saying it works very well in epoch, which is another arma 3 mod, never had issue finding clothing there for female or male including gillies, but i understand it may be extra work for you guys at this stage.

    agreed, after all most of exile trader and building ideas originated from a mod like epoch, why stop there.  Making traders only have items sold to them by other players with price dropping depending on quantity left would make it more fun :-)

    I played 2 years epoch and 1 year exile, and i can say the only thing which is better in epoch is female skin, the only thing my girl would like in exile.

    It's the only thing that works good from beginning on epoch, and i don't like epoch traders. For what i saw, u can't sell directly from vehicule, and the selection is really bad works with a big menu where u have to find each item u want to buy or sell... it's so long and boring. Exile seller are perfect, u can sell what u want directly from your car in all sense. U can sell all with the car if u want. And u sell instantly instate of a useless animation wich make u wait before each trading time.

    Honestly i was talking about epoch admins and ewhen ever they try to do some more realistic gameplay, or survival gameplay on their server, epoch looks like dead or frozen... No innovation on mod from month, nothing happened + there is a bug in epoch with "clan creation" and "base foundation", if u create your clan  after the base foundation u lost access to house and all your vehicules. This dont' happen on exile u can create party or clan and make your base before and grant rights on your made to which you want wheneverhe's not in your  clan. So very more simple and usefull.

    Exile is more accessible and better for pvp , and better for pve with reputation and base attacks...

    I talked on other post about add "civilians hostage" to rescue in missions or invasions, take them in our car and bring them to mayor against reputation reward...

    Actually testing Taunus map !!!! it's so great  Taunus Exile pve for me :)

    It works very well for Epoch because Epoch made all of their female models, uniforms, and skins when they first started. They also had their entire development lifetime to refine them and add more.

    There is no question of "may be extra work", it will be a huge amount of extra work for us that we can't afford right now.

    I'm sure there is some reason why people want female characters, but equally i am sure the devs would not use other mods and make their own, which takes a lot of time! Therefore if other players wanted new updates it would take much longer... Just saying

    Female characters have been on the Arma 3 wishlist on place #2 with more than 30k votes for years. 

    And there are solid reasons why they are not in:

    • The complete gear of Arma is fitted for males. If you want females, you would have to re-make them for females (like uniforms, which define the body shape for example). The production of a single 3D asset can take weeks, depending on the complexity and neded level of detail.
    • Females move different than males. The majority of the animations in Arma are motion captured. A single motion capture session often takes months of planning, requires hiring motion capturing actors that can actually do the moves, cleaning the animations up afterwards and then configuring them for the game. Not to mention that you will need a camera team, a stage staff, lighting experts and a motion capture studio.
    • All human sounds in Arma are recorded by males. And even if you tend to forget it sometimes, Arma actually has multiple voices in there, that you can set in your profile. I think it was somewhat around ten voices. The lip-syncing is mostly engine-based, but recording ALL sounds by another ten females is really a lot of work. Not to mention that players then will also ask for localization to their own language.

    Overall, I agree that having female characters in Arma would be nice, but it would cost months - if not even years - of work, involves more than 200 persons and can easily cost millions if you want to do it right. Demanding that from a bunch of hobbyists that mod Arma in their free time is a bit asked too much. But if you have a high-tech motion capture studio, a skilled staging staff and MoCap actors, plus a couple of millions of dollars left over, write me a PM :) 

    We will not do what Epoch has done. What they have done is to add one female uniform with a couple of skins as far as I know. But it moves like a male, has male sounds (breathing etc.) and cannot wear male gear, as it would look, well, like a man then. And even if we did the same, I can already tell you what will happen next: People will ask for more. Give them a single gummi bear and they want the whole bag.

    Because a lot of development for Arma is a result of development from VBS, I don't think it will take too long before BI releases female assets for Arma. While many of the end users of VBS are using their own assets, which are created to suit their individual needs, VBS is being selected by several large nations which have large numbers of female personnel. I have a feeling BI is going to introduce female characters sooner than most think.

    And as soon as VBS has solid female assets in place with the core program, I'm sure they'll be porting much of that over into Arma, especially considering how many female gamers they are likely to attract with such an addition.

    Здравствуйте, оружие сделали хорошо, НО почему на KSVK с оптическим прицелом, дальность стрельбы не выставляется больше 1000м ???
