• 0.9.61 "Plum" and 1.60

    Today we have released 0.9.61 "Plum", which is a meta-version to establish compatibility with Arma 1.60, so you can keep on playing while we are working on the next "big" update. Arma now features a color grading that comes close to the one we had, thus we were forced to removed ours or the game would be unplayable.

    The good news is that this update is really quick to implement for server owners. We did not change server or mission code. See the changelogs for more info.

    We have been waiting for 1.60 to go public, so we can start our public RC test of the next Exile version, which we plan to open in the following days. The next update will be by far the biggest one we ever had.

    For server owners:

    • Update client files
    • Update key
    • Update BE filters if needed
    • Server files are the SAME!

    You made me nervous. Just tested this on our server and it works completely fine? Maybe you still overwriting things in CfgCustomCode?

    My headless client is getting kicked for having unaccepted mods. I installed the server key, and updated the client-side mods on both the server and headless client. Am I missing something?

    What would I be overwriting in CfgCustomCode that would affect the safe zone? I haven't tested the safezone myself but I've read from other people that the safezone wasn't fixed yet.

    I have testing it with clean setup now overrides or something.

    Yeah the bullet got removed but the player still get damage.

     

    The second thing is Download from server #4 (Worldwide)

    are  2mb smaller than the other ones any solution?

    Yah i downloaded that one first, its still linking to 0.9.60

    You'll need to switch to CUP Terrains. AiA hasn't been in development for over a year and won't be updated to work 100% correctly with Arma 3 1.60.

    I have tested it personally yesterday and I was not able to find any problems. I jumped off the roof, got people driving over me, tried to shoot people from the outside, tried to destroy vehicles etc. and everything works as intended. Join our server and check for yourself if you do not believe me.

    The only thing that I can think of that could cause problems there is that the map init is still being used twice somewhere due to some custom code changes.

    @DirtySanchez Calling me names, blaming us for your failure etc. results in a "fuck off", yes. If you want to become buddies with me again, join Teamspeak and let us have a beer.

    I don't understand

    what kind of "foam" rises then??? everything works fine except the script color correction from me! but this is nonsense. Interested as well from their friends, same thing, works perfectly! Looking forward to the global update! Thanks for the work guys, it deserves respect!!!!!)))
