Script restriction#14 wont go away

Hi,

 

Everyone on my server is getting kicked for script restriction #14 (see below for error)

So i have added the following exception into the Scripts.txt onto line 16:

Anyone having the same issue, i added it but doesn't seem to have had an effect.

Can someone please help with this? ive tried a variety of exceptions in the scripts.txt and none seem to work for this. Short of disabling B.E i dont know what to do.

Is right, I double checked. It is a VERY weird line the error is shown on tbh..

What if you change the 7 to a 1?

Yay, this worked perfectly, you're right its a strange line for this sort of rescription to appear on. However, changing the 7 to a 1 did the tirck thanks very much :D . 

So what does changing the 7 to a 1 do, it doesn't completely ruin my B.E does it? don't want them script kiddies running about pretending to be hackers.

It changes it from "log to the .log file and the console and kick" to "log to the .log file only".

i would add this to line 16 if i was doing it with that error

i wouldnt add \n as there is no line break

This might also prevent kicks but is not as secure as a != exception.

!"setWeaponReloadingTime"

As I understand BE filters, that won't kick for any script execution that includes the phrase setWeaponReloadingTime. You might try it if hogansheroes suggestion does not work. Or just keep logging and not kicking if you're cool with that.

if your regarding line says

im pretty sure its not the line you search for... because it doesnt match your kick log line...

 

please post your whole filterfile

are you even using actual filter files?

The log file does over time increase in size a fair bit so i have to clear it down - which i dont mind but would prefer it not to as finding other problems is then difficult. 

when i tried this approach [see below] it still didn't work - so went back to logging.
