Infistar v0077 #22 Script restriction

10 posts in this topic

Hello all,

My Exile server seems to work perfectly fine up to the point of adding @infiSTAR. From that moment on anyone trying to join the server gets kicked off with the message

22.05.2017 20:06:21: Roach (77.161.37.153:2304) 67e7fa5921deab1746b97ace0fa2b4c1 - #22 "0, [123]];

if (_state ==                             2) then
{

player disableCollisionWith (missionNamespace getVariable [_unitVar,objNull]);
};"

adding a proposed line to line 24

Quote

!="0, [123]];\n\nif (_state ==                             2) then        \n{\n\n\nplayer disableCollisionWith (missionNamespace getVariable [_unitVar,objNull]);\n};"

does not fix the problem. The infistar package was downloaded 1 hour ago and has been installed according to the read_me.txt including all its battleye filters replacing the ones inserted by Exile.

Adding the above literally without editing moves it out of the way and is replaced by yet another script restriction, #14:

Quote

"riable ["RscDisplayMPInterrupt_respawnTime", time];
player setdamage 1;
};
if (!isNil {missionNamespace getVariable "BIS_RscResp"

this time. Now also people are getting kicked for these when picking up weapons (createVehicle restrictions)

Quote

#0 "Exile_Animal_Rooster_Gold" 3:3 [8552,18281,177]

#0 "Exile_Animal_Goat_Black" 4:9 [8835,18224,193]

#0 "Exile_Animal_Sheep_Tricolor" 3:10 [12928,18110,21]

////////////////////////////////////////////

Complete redone the installation of Exile. Databases wiped, only Infistar filters inside the battleye folder. Script restriction #22 for any player joining. It seems the filters are unfortunately not update to for Exile 1.0.3 (Last Infistar update dates from April). Would love to see an update for Infistar soon! ^^

So I just updated my servers t A3 1.70 and Exile 1.0.3 and am going to reinstall all mods.   0077 Infistar doesn't work?  Or is it not too bad solving the script restrictions.

I have not been able to solve the filter problems. Fixing one only creates a new ones. I think the filters have to be redone thoroughly for the new Arma 3 and exile version

I've been plugging through the restrictions Since I added Infistar 0077 and must have added about 30 so far.    But I hit a stubborn one.  I did it manually - still got kicked.  Ran it through Maca's filter generator and BE-AG.  They all return exactly what I came up with manually and so I still get kicked.   What am I and all the filter tools missing?  This one seems rather straightforward.

Here's the log entry:

Spoiler

24.05.2017 21:28:50: xxxxxxx - #67 "[clientOwner,_this select 0,_this select 1] remoteExecCall ['fnc_AdminReq', 2, false]"

Here's what I added to line 69:

Spoiler

!="[clientOwner,_this select 0,_this select 1] remoteExecCall ['fnc_AdminReq', 2, false]"

I also tried it without the =.

Not sure what happened... I guess I wasn't paying attention when I merged scripts.txt files.   So last night I went back to ground zero.   I merged scripts.txt from the latest Exile 1.0.3 and Infistar 0077, being careful this time.  I don't recall the exact number of lines but after de-duping the lines, I think I ended up with something like 60 lines.

I worked through the remaining restrictions and got all those as a normal user and am making a lot of progress in resolving those that occur when logged in as an admin and using the admin functions.  So far so good.

Thanks for pointing that out or I'd probably still be stumbling around.

Defent made a BE filter post but i don't think he covered "merges" I learned to merge (exile filters with infiSTAR filters with changes) out of sheer desperation on fixing the issues I was having.  between that and "asterisks" so you can cover a host of different variants without a bloated filter log... it saved my brain.
