[BETA] Thelos Racetrack v2.1 DMS Static Mission (Altis)

Something I was working on before my break and as I spent a while mapping at the time I thought I should finish but as I have no dev server I am releasing as BETA.

You can download from here: https://github.com/redned70/DMSStaticMissions/tree/master/Altis Static/Beta Missions but please remember it is beta until enough people have fed back.

Usual "how-to" and install instructions included in the pack along with all other missions from the github "clone or download" button on the main DMS static missions page.

It is pretty over complex on purpose to see how far I could push some of the limits of things I have done in other missions but also I wanted people to be able to change it up a lot easily with their own mod vehicles etc so that's why its also heavily commented.

Please report bugs in this thread.

	Running on DMS System

Thelos Racetrack is multi difficulties with chance of persistent vehicle with ground AI patrols and AI heli.

Installing.
1. 	Copy thelosracetrack.sqf into a3_dms.pbo missions/static
2. 	Copy thelosracetrack_buildings.sqf into a3_dms.pbo objects/static
3. 	Extract  map_configs/altis_config.sqf
4.	Add to end
// Add the "thelosracetrack" mission to the existing mission types.
DMS_StaticMissionTypes append 
[["thelosracetrack",5]];

DO NOT ADD THE BUILDINGS - they are called on mission spawn.
*******************************************************
5.	Repack altis_config.sqf	into PBO
6. Save and repack config into PBO
7. 	Put a3_dms.pbo into /@ExileServer/addons/ on server and start.

you want to use the buildings without the mission?

you can add a safe zone in the missions PBO mission.sqm search for "class Markers", easiest way is set it as a trader zone but remove the marker stuff for it.

if I could work it out I suppose when the mission starts it could turn off a safezone and turn it on once completed or not there as a mission but I would have to investigate that kind of change

Hello I am contacting you about the racetrack mission I have my server down at the moment I will have it running in 3 days I could give u access to use it as a test server for 3 days

my server is ran by gamingdeluxe

I would have the mission running on my server as long as it had ways of making money I have not tried this yet no time I have to wait 3 days

with my A2 server we had a racetrack as people enjoyed racing each other, it was a safe zone on that server not a mission. Buildings in the mission would spawn loot if the building-type spawns loot normally elsewhere on the map.

I will look at temporary safe zones, it may be possible.

look down the scripts for

and change false to true, save all changed files back into the PBO.

That is the current suggested fix for this which is in the DMS thread if you search
