[SOLVED] Arma 3 - Exile Server Problems

36 posts in this topic

Hello,

We have been trying to create an Arma 3 Exile server, we first tried to make it with our previous knowledge of making an Arma 3 Exile server. That didn't go too well so we decided to use an Exile server tutorial.

A few people in the comments are having the same issue as we are...

When we load into the server, where the parachute menu should be, we are stuck lying on the ground and frozen.  I believe this may be a database issue due to the logs the server is writing and so on.

Client RPT: http://www.hastebin.com/urahuduveq.tex

Client RPT states that it is waiting for the server to be load.

Server RPT:  Download link as cannot technical difficulties with adding to hastebin and attaching.

Thanks, Carl Dizy

Solved by using an older version of tbbmalloc.dll

Does the job fine so far,

Your Welcome,

Carl.

Have you disabled strict mode on the database?

Would you have any advice for me, I have tried executing the code

SHOW VARIABLES LIKE 'sql_mode'

as it was discussed here but all I have in the results is:   Variable: sql_mode   Value: NO_AUTO_CREATE_USER,NO_ENGINE_SUBSTITUTION

I'm not the best with MYSql, thanks.

I shall try this tomorrow, so I do exactly the same, just with the 1.0.2 files right?

Thanks, Carl.

Correct. :)

Hello,

We have tried to follow this guide using XAMPP and HeidiSQL, would this be a problem with this guide?

If not, then we do not know what the problem is...

The RPT contains the same errors as the original rpt.

Thanks, Carl

It shouldn't be a problem, no. Just ensure you're still following the guide, just substituting the relevant software.

Alright, I will record us doing the following guide and if it does not work, we will upload it to youtube. I might be missing something... I am autistic.

Thanks, Carl.
