Esseker Fuck Up

I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I figured someone should post this somewhere, as it took our guys a little while to figure it out. Today A3 Launcher/Steam have included Esseker in the "subscription" type of mods. For this reason, it will automatically update it's clients to the latest version. Over all, this wouldn't be a bad concept, except that today they f-ed up. Big. They "updated" everyone to 7.0.3 instead of the current version which is 7.0.5. For this reason, if you notice a ton of people getting kicked, or cannot join your server, it's because A3 Launcher/Steam Workshop has automatically "updated" them to the old version.

To resolved this whole fiasco, you can "update" your server to the old version using only A3 Launcher. As it currently appears it is not showing on Steam Workshop (more problems). 

Things get worse. The current version that is connected with A3 Launcher, and Steam Workshop (7.0.3) does not include any server keys. So, all in all, if you want folks to be able to play, you have downgrade your server version to 7.0.3. and find the keys for that version of Esseker somewhere since they were not included with this download. If anyone has found a resolution, or can like to the 7.0.3. server keys, it would be greatly appreciated.

Don't use the Steam Workshop for downloading mods - either use something like A3L or get them directly from the developers / armaholic ^^

2. Authors published new version of map with 0.7.3 version number (not 0.7.0.3)

Tried to use Esseker 0.7.3 + CUP Terrain Core and Esseker 0.7.3 + AiA in editor:

Esseker 0.7.3 + CUP Terrain Core

+ better fps
- problems with schools buildings and with yellow building in Gulash (can not open door)

Esseker 0.7.3 + AiA

+ no problem with buildings.
- lower fps

Also I found new village near airfield at the hill ( there is no mention in changelog about it ). Petlov Grad is awesome! Road from Plavna to Petlov Grad is very bad...

There is no other option. A3L also goes through Steam Workshop now.

Where to find serverkey?

Kind of. A3L has always provided their downloads 'through' Steam, but it hasn't used it as a 'subscription' like it does now. Now our clients are basically forced to update. If this a new version (which it appears it is), I'm not sure why it's 0.7.3 instead of 0.7.5. In either case, does anyone have any idea where to get the keys for this? Even after updating, no one can get in because there are no keys T_T

Update. I was notified on Steam by the developer that e-mail requests will result in bikeys. As soon as I get mine back I'll post it here to help out.

You are wrong about versions: 0.7.5 version does not exists, you had 0.7.0.5.

Updated armaholic page lies, because server key not included: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=28815
Armaholic version is the same as in Steam Workshop. No server key in files.

I'm sorry if this has created an confusion. Let's forget the petty parts. The versions were labeled incorrectly. The "new" version was labeled like the old. Armaholic lists 7.0.5 as the current version, but links to the workshop at 0.7.3. The point is the same. We need keys, and this automatic updating subscription stuff really messed a lot of us up. 

 

I'm not good with numbers man, alright?! lol

 

Edit: minor edit, but it appears Armaholic has updated their version to match. Although it still links back to Workshop.
