Hey guys

When inside the tempest lorry, you can not lock it, meaning when you get in, anyone else can get in because you cant lock from the inside

you can't lock any vehicle from the inside, it's meant to be like this so player can access a car if the person inside is shoot

what itsatrap has stated is true, not only for exile, but for epoch as well.

 

it also applies to ALL vehicles, not just the lorry.

 

even in SP missions, you cannot lock the vehicle.  in SP, you can get a mod that allows for this, but for exile, nope!

 

it is a good opportunity for a roadkill score though!

So annoyed, left tempest in safe zone before reboot.. came back and its gone

any ideas?

also then bought a 3k lorry and it blew up?!

Most servers unlock cars in safe zone after restart, but you have to talk to servers admins and not here

This has nothing to do with locking from the inside. Just get out and use the lock from the outside. If you did, yeah, it might be unlocked by the server on reboot. Lots of servers do this to prevent safe zone parking.

there IS a way to lock a vehicle while inside.  do note, if you test this, you will NOT be able to exit the vehicle.

select and activate lock

while it it locking, select 'get in'

you will now be in the vehicle, but with the doors locked.  of course YOU cannot get out/unlock, but it does allow you to do what you want to do!

 

i tried this 'trick' myself as i was curious.  lucky for me, i am an admin, so i was able to 'eject' myself out.  normal players will NOT be able to do such.

hahaha NAIL, i never tried to relog, i just used the admin 'eject' command.
