How do i use the loot compiler?

So i've tried using the loot compiler but it doesn't seem to work for me.

When i run it it says input string was not in a correct format.

What can i do to fix this? I literally downloaded it and ran it.

Good tutorial! I still have the same problem, whenever i drop the file over the compiler.bat it just says "Input string was not in a correct format."
