Disconnectors

7 posts in this topic

Hi all, I'm just curious and I'm sure all server owners are encountering this but I have alot of traffic to my server but people disconnect constantly after joining, I'm guessing it's due to not having exile mod, all my other mods wouldnt add up to over 100mb. Has anyone thought of a method to make it easy for noobs and alike to realise they need exile mod and download from ExileMod. Just very frustrating to know so many ant to play but don't even realise why they get kicked.

Yes, it's called A3L.

The hordes of people joining and disconnecting are because they're joining with missing/incorrect mods.

Yeah I thought so, my mate used to use it because it says it downloads everything for you, bit  misleading.

It does. Any servers listed on it are literally click and play (or it will automatically get the mods you need if they're missing).

Oh ok so I've never used it that's all, my friend sad it was  screwing with him joining other servers in the past, when I looked into exile for the first time I came straight here and got the client all the other mods are can be done through launcher. I do realise it's because of lack of/wrong mods though.

I always just use the arma dashboard to set up mods and join servers. I only use A3launcher to update exile. The arma dashboard will let you select servers, tell you what mods you need and set up/install them for you.
