Server FPS effect on Windows server?

5 posts in this topic

I am using marma.io to monitor my hosted server, which I believe is hosted on Windows. Sometimes I am seeing the server FPS drop into the 20's/30's. How detrimental of an effect does this have on the server? At what point should I expect issues to show up on the server, such as lag when trying to unlock a vehicle, or AI glitching/warping?

server fps depends on the hardware, map, construction items, player count, etc...

Anything above 5 and you'll be fine majority of the time.

In my experience things start to get "funny" When it drops below 10 and outright ugly when its gets below 5. Thankfully a number of the addons and scripts now check server performance and will pause their work when server fps falls below a certain point.
