To set up your server to support the XM8 app, please ensure the following:

  1. You are running 1.0.1 "Sweet Potato" or later.
  2. Your server has a static IPv4 address. DNS names or dynamic IP addresses are not supported.
  3. If your server is sitting behind an HTTP proxy, you need to know the outgoing IPv4 address of that, too.
  4. Your server does not block outgoing connections on port 80.
