use the proper performace fix from the BIS Dev Dwarden. the latest version is V 11 ---- https://www.dropbox.com/sh/582opsto4mmr8d8/AACIqkuF_19tmavdPX_zd6bna/162perf11/arma3client_performance_162_137824_v11.7z?dl=0

if you dont trust that link thats fine dont trust every link you find on the net! :) just research it first! you need to use the performance client build (not profiling) and you will have to replace your arma3.exe with this version (until they release it as a proper update at which time you can just update arma as per usual)

his dropbox is this:

I'll get my player base to test this too and feedback. I have been advising players this;

 - load up ARMA 3 (not via A3 launcher sadly) with any required mods loaded.

 - Then load into the VR arsenal (shoot a few rounds off!)

 - Quit back to the arma 3 main menu.

- Load the server browser window and either browse servers or directly connect to your favourite server.

I get the memory error crash and this works for me every time.

With the profiling build I've not solved any crashes but, I've been using it since a few weeks and got a little performance boost: between 3 and 5 FPS. I'm playing with a I5 4690 and a Radeon HD7750.

I only get memory fault crashes when trying to log into some servers, but If I'm able to login to the server the client almost never crashes when playing.

Oi.

1) Don't use the profiling branch. All that does is generate extra log files from the .exe that BIS uses to track down issues. Use the performance branch, as that'll actually be an updated exe. Though sometimes it will not work with BE servers.

2). I've had memory crashes in other game modes, but the frequency is an order of magnitude less.

I speak knowingly, we tried with more than 100 players on several server especially the Tanoa server or it y' has a lot of memory to the map loading error) and as by chance on 100 players over 90 have more no concern while before it was 90% of crash?

Me too ( with Tanoa ) Tanoa life, Exile etc memory crash 1/2 and with profiling 0 crash to days

Dont use that one list at the top guys (not because its wrong, but its a profiling one for testing so not performance focused!) - use the proper performace fix from the BIS Dev Dwarden. the latest version is V 11 ---- https://www.dropbox.com/sh/582opsto4mmr8d8/AACIqkuF_19tmavdPX_zd6bna/162perf11/arma3client_performance_162_137824_v11.7z?dl=0
