How to play Chernarus ?

Hello all,

Just a little question. Thanks to steam, and Arma 3, how to play on Exile mod, chernarus servers ?

 

I tried the A3 launcher, but toally buggy, downloading All in arma terrain pack not working.

Depending what server you are playing on you might need more mods you will have to go the the server website and see what mods it needs.

It needs @All in Arma TerrainPack, but can't find it in the worskhop, can't find it instead of the one in the other launcher (no steam needed). And this one is buggy, 8.5Go, ain't working, the download always stops before the end. Thanks for your answer.

Ive been playing chernarus for the last few days, easiest way to get it is to use a3launcher to download and to connect to the server, it will download whatever you need.

Alternative you can just goto the epoch mod webiste .. *sigh* and download the direct torrent.

I found the torrent on the official website that's right, what do I have to do after having downloaded it ?

I downloaded the 7.39Go file (a torrent) thanks to the official epochmod website.

 

Once it's done, you have to un-zip it (I don't know the word in english) here --> Programm files/Steam/SteamApps/Common/Arma 3. It will give you an @Allinarmaterrainpack 8.50Go.

 

Once you've done it, open Arma 3 via steam, and in the launcher, extensions, and choose the @allinarmaterrainpack 8.50Go you've just un-zipped.Then you'll be able to play on EVERY servers with maps like Chernarus, Esseker, Namalsk...Cheers !

Just download a3 launcher as TheVodkaVendor said. It's the easiest option.

A3Launcher Instructions

1. Download A3Launcher from: http://a3launcher.com/setup_a3launcher.exe

2. Click 'Settings' and 'Force HTTP Download'

3. Select 'Mods' and download 'All in Arma Terrain Pack Lite (1.4.1)' as well as 'Exile'

4. Under name filter search for 'MGT' and join: "MGT EXILE CHERNARUS | BOUNTIES | AI MISSIONS | PVP | HIGH LOOT"

If the downloads are slow you can manually download them (as shown below) and still launch the mods through A3Launcher.

2. Extract the mods to your Arma 3 folder which is typically in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3

It should look like this

3. Open arma3launcher in the same folder, select 'Parameters'

4. Tick 'Mods' and hit the '...' button, select both folders. It should look like this:

5. Click 'Play', goto 'Multiplayer' and select 'Remote Join'

6. Enter IP address 176.31.182.149 and port 2302 to play.
