Problem with dying inside of bases.

Basically with a standard vertical wooden tower setup, sometimes my character gets into a falling animation and floats above the floor while going downstairs.  I can't move and after a few moments, he just dies .  Other people in the server I played on said the same thing happens to them also on stairs and it's happened to me several times within a couple of hours.

Although I haven't seen your stairs, that normally happens when there's a gap (game sees you over a gap and thinks you're falling). Make sure the bottom and top steps of the staircase are flush and level inside (not atop or below) the floor above and below the stairs. Also a good idea to place stairs flush against a wall (no gap). Not sure if that will help your situation though.

You have to eat and drink in the game. LOL I only say this because it has happened many times to players in my server.
