So what's the deal, Haven't got a clue on what's the current popular mod, I've played quite a few mods like Forsakend, Exile Zero or something like that, also (Not Related To Exile) Desolation, Breaking Point. but all these mods seem not to have a good amount of players, hell only one server which is CCG for exile is full at the moment, the rest of these mod's are dead, Did I miss something? What's going on? it's like everything's fucked up.

Personal opinion, mod's like these always die when the developers release the the files for anyone, adding one hundred mod's wont make the mod itself better. That's like overpouring water on a seed which hasn't even grown yet.

What's the current mod please? I wish to download the 50 GB's tonight.........................

You mean like Breaking Point that always was closed off and has been hemorrhaging players for some time to the point where they had to shut down most of their servers?

The reason why players leave these mods is because most of them is basically the same thing, and when you spread the player base over all these copies of the same thing; all of them suffer. It's the same thing with Exile atm, due to too many people wanting to run a server the player base is spread out and the only people who actually get a fun experience are few and far between due to odd server configurations.

I didn't notice the double post excuse me for that. 3/4 of the servers for exile are completely unplayable for me, I dont mind having 2 or 4 mods in one server that'll make the core mod itself entertaining but Im calling BS on you're opinion, Breaking Point's player base had lasted longer then this exile mod, hell you can't stretch a piece of gum a mile can you?

And to be honest, I rather have a mod that's controlled by the developers themselves exactly the way BREAKING POINT developers have it, 2 reasons, so there's no one other then those dev's hosting it, because if you haven't noticed each one of these rip off mods that are released end up falling into server owner hands like CCG or TPG and they'll take most of the player base with them, and (2) I refuse to work with CCG and TPG due to their ignorance.

Well you are posting for me at 5.37am, that says to me you are in a timezone where there aren't many players. Last night (for me) there were around 3000 players online and there were plenty of full servers.

The "mods" you mentioned in the first post were just custom servers not separate "mods" released to the general public.

This is why only a handful of those servers exist yet you compare them to Breaking Point, stating Breaking Point is better for keeping control of the mod. Can you not see they are the same? The only difference is Desolation/Exile Zero/Forsaken are all just modified Exile servers.

You also seem to have an issue with successful server groups who have managed to sustain themselves by monetising. Servers are not cheap to run and money doesn't grow on trees.

I wasn't trying to give reasons why I perfer breaking point over this mod those guys definitely wasted something they had, it's just some of those ways they ran it made the mod feel geniune.

And yes I live in texas, Im not too sure where these players are seeing that I live in america where we take a big percentage of the player base for arma 3

And if you want, give me a name to one of these servers that are epic at five in the morning I wouldn't mind playing on the weekend.

I think I'm with @Surge132 here when I say I still don't quite know what you're saying or the point of this post. :P

I think he is just confused by all these servers out there which are basically the same, modified by the respective community.

Saying that CCG is "ignorant" or "arrogant" is just one side of the coin. The servers are mainly run by maca and he is not around often because of  some RL stuff I think. Most of the staff is just not capable to do changes that goes beyond " add X from trader, remove Y from loottable" . Beside that they do a friggin gr8 job.
