Bright pink icon - no crate

All,

I have a bright pink marker on the map. There is usually around two of them. I'm used to going there and finding a crate which has various loot inside it. On my server, I go to the bright pink drone looking icon and there isn't anything there. I guess I need to add it in myself somewhere.

How do I do this?

What are you asking to add? The markers are random based near airfields and it places the marker before the crate is delivered, so if you saw it before the drop happenned you would have to wait and watch for it and then go get it once it lands.

I want to add a crate in with supplies. The supplies can be anything I'm not too bothered about that.

I see the pink icon appear on the map and give it about 15 mins before I head out to it. So by the time I get there it's about 20 mins since the pink icon appears however on arrival there's nothing at all to collect. I need to know how to add a loot crate for players to go up to and get a few supplies, beer, water, food, ammo etc.

At the very bottom of config.cpp in the mission file is the crates configuration. You can add whatever you want for difderen drops. 

 

As as for you not finding a crate when you get there. I dunno, what distance do you have set for it to land from the marker? I have mine set to bout 1500 so players have to really look to find them. They aren't always right at the mark.

Ahh ok that might be something. I'll have a good scout around the area tonight and see as we've just been looking exactly at the pink marker.

You can check the distance you have set in your config. And you can change it to whatever you want.
