Limited number of safes per territory level

7 posts in this topic

As  many people have seen. When you raid a base, you get in and all you see is safes...safes everywhere!!

Now lets say there was some sort of code that went with the Level of the territory and building parts, Maybe we could have a limit on the safes in the base. This way people will need to make crates.

Example

class CfgTerritories
{
	// Base Cost / Radius
	// Level 1 is allways for Pop Tabs, >= 2 for Respect
	prices[] =
	{
		// Purchase Price Radius Number of Objects
		{5000,					15,			50					}, // Level 1 // safe 5
		{10000,					30,			100					}, // Level 2 // safe 7
		{15000,					45,			150					}, // Level 3 // safe 9
		{20000,					60,			200					}, // Level 4 // safe 11
		{25000,					75,			250					}, // Level 5 // safe 14
		{30000,					90,			300					}, // Level 6 // safe 16
		{35000,					105,		350					}, // Level 7 // safe 18
		{40000,					120,		400					}, // Level 8 // safe 20
		{45000,					135,		450					}, // Level 9 // safe 22
		{50000,					150,		500					}  // Level 10 // safe 25
	};

This way when a player raids a base there is just not safes, but some wooden crates and tents. Making raids worth while now.

When I first saw the title I just immediately thought, "Wtf...", without thinking of how well this could work. I like the idea of basically making people use crates to store at least some of their items so that if the base is active and you do go in to raid, the chances there will be something there for you to take will be much higher. Not to mention crates will be used for more than just storing wood and crappy miscellaneous items.

+1, some servers should do this.

Yeah, I was going to say something to @Eichi or any other dev about it but they where doing the recent update. Now I have far to much work of my own to do ;)

No there isn't, unless you're talking about the "code scanner" and that isn't even guaranteed access to the safe.

+1 on this, there are many bases I've raided that are owned by one person and it is like a level 1 base and they have 10-15 safes in there
