When you buy from traders you should be given double the respect that you get when you sell an item as it's twice as expensive + you're buying Bigger variety of items for bases/food/drink/tools:New enhancements needed so players won't get bored of their bases. As the current building mechanism is great, it all looks the same and gets kind of boring after a while so it would be great to get some new materials, tents, tank traps, wires, real custom made traps, digging tunnels - think of Overpoch for arma 2 and get all the cool stuff including some brand new additions.Food/Drink should also be introduced on a larger scale. Have some more drink/food types which has different effect on the characterWater - there are wells around maps but we are unable to get fresh water from them - that would be coolWhen hunger/thirst drops to 0% - you just dieThat should be changed to getting tired, after some amount of time not able to walk and losing consciousness.Tools:Add Shovels for digging in the ground, Pickaxe for getting rock out of mountains = this would enable players to make awesome strong bases and could find some good use for making your own food and making tools out of rocks etc.I'll be updating this post once I come up with something 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Boxman80 352 Report post Posted September 16, 2015 Good suggestions, definitely agree the mod needs to draw more inspiration from many of the Overpoch features and some of the more common and popular scrips being used - that will effectively get all the A2 die hard players who aren't so keen on A3 to fully convert and support this awesome mod! I've made a few suggestions the same as yours on my own suggestions thread and agree with most of what you're suggesting. Not sure tunnels would work though.Totally agree with the thirst/hunger issue. There should be a better medical system incorporated whereby you sloly lose health once your character reaches 0% thirst/hunger and the indicator should be more prominent. I also think that the mod could fully utilise Arma 3's underwater environments a bit more, maybe encouraging underwater bases, incorporating underwater missions, having water based AI antagonists (sharks etc), rewards being hidden int eh sea. Like a pickaxe to get stones, or a hammer to fix buildings.Upgrade the walls of my base to stone would look awesome! However I still feel like there has to be some kind of reward for surviving... And most appropriate would be the respect. Maybe give the 100 respect for each day only if you're active enough? Not sure Also, there has to be a reward for not killing Bambi players. If you kill a bambi you lose 500 respect so there should be a reward for killing bambi killers? Never seen anything here like that but remember the humanity in Arma 2? For every bandit killed you would get big humanity reward.My only real concern is the AI - please do not add the zombies PLEASE, don't use Demons or satans or whatever else.Make this a human being PVP/PVE mod - the theme is amazing now with the prisoners so the AIs have to be prisoners and asshole guards like Brad Bellick from Prison Break - he went badass to hunt the criminals down after he was fired from prison!Damn, I like the mod so much that I can't wait to see it in few months Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
