How large does the database typically get?

Hey I was wondering how large the database can get on average? I know it might depend on how busy the server is but if I could get an approximate guess for a medium size server with a medium amount of traffic then I'll know if I might put the database on the SSD drive (it's a small drive 56gb with 27gb remaining)

That should be more than enough for the database. Just make sure to zip your log files and rotate them.

Well thats good to know but has anyone tried moving the database to SSD? I'm using XAMPP finding out where the database files are located is kind of mysterious.

I don't really suggest using XAMPP.

That I know of XAMPP queries really slow compared to MYSQL, even though they are the same core files.
