Sleepers

Sleepers? in other words how would people feel about when a player logs out don't remove the character from the game.

Meaning it causes people to be careful where they logout and introduces a little more realism to the game.

Just an idea.

No I don't think this should be in the game, it's just a mechanism that will be exploited and used to troll.  Doesnt work particularly well on other games (particularly ARK!) and would just cause frustration to gamers.

Agree. Not to mention the performance issue of having all those ragdolls on the map.

If this did ever get added I would just be trolling players by killing their sleeping body.

People would just build out near the water, equip a rebreather and log off somewhere in the water.

Even though i am against this idea, but i think creating an AI after player logs out for a few seconds would serve its purpose.

Ya maybe not that if you log out the body is there until i log in again.

But instead an ai is replacing you and is there for X min then it despawn or if you reconnect it despawn earlier.

But this is not done fast and easy as the ai need to have my equipment and if killed kill my char and send me to respawn screen if killed.
