xexsync 1 Report post Posted October 17, 2015 I see a lot of "High Loot" servers for exile, but are they really high loot? I feel like it is just something to get players on your server. All of the servers I've been on are about the same with loot (seems like it). But if they are really higher loot, how does that work? Scripts? I have been planning on getting an exile server and wanted to know if this was really a thing or not. Thanks.
RetardMagnet 54 Report post Posted October 17, 2015 Don't do it. High loot is nice for a few days, but after that you get bored cuz it's so easy to get cash.

xanadu 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2015 What does high loot actually mean? Does it mean more items spawn or higher tier items spawn or both?
BetterDeadThanZed 1006 Report post Posted October 20, 2015 (edited) Most likely what it means is that the server admin has increased the chances of loot to spawn. There are three settings. One sets the percentage chance of a building to spawn loot. The next sets the percentage chance for loot to spawn in each loot position. The third one sets how much loot spawns in each loot position. So, if you set a 100% chance of loot spawning, loot will always spawn in a building. If you set the chance for loot to spawn in each loot position in the building to 100%, then every loot position will have loot. Then, you can further increase it by setting the number of items to spawn in each loot position to something ridiculous. On my server I've set the percentage chance for loot to spawn in a building and to spawn in each position to 35% with a maximum of 3 items in each position. It's a good balance and keeps the loot low so you don't gear up too fast. Edited October 20, 2015 by BetterDeadThan
Danius 7 Report post Posted October 20, 2015 We have actually increased the loot that spawns, and also increased the amount of mission loot that drops. However, as kind of a balance, we are adjusting the sale price of items. Currently everything sells for a quarter of the purchase price (default is half). I understand people who say it's too easy to make cash on some servers (which is why we put in the fix), but it's also absolutely no fun to be running around as a Bambi for 30 minutes and not finding jack shit. I would rather people find loot quickly, gear up, and get to PvPing, rather than running around empty buildings and getting frustrated. Personal preference obviously.
Alucard 10 Report post Posted July 20, 2018 i want to have higher tier loot how do i change that?

Alternatively you can adjust the loot tables directly and adjust the chance of the individual items in each building class.....
