Crowded safezones is something of a reality and there are a bunch of scripts that try to circumvent it. How about having a rental subscription settable by the server admin, let it subtract X amount of popcaps every restart or something, or maybe you buy a "ticket" to park, and once it runs out the car immediately gets unlocked and available to everyone.

I really like the idea of an expired ticket unlocks the vehicle, yet still allowing people the choice of the Mafia taking care of their belongings, this ticket would have to be substantial to work. 

My Airport is littered with dumped vehicles.

Great idea!

This is how I think it should work...When you enter a safezone a list pops up on your screen with time/price (something similar showed below) you select which one confirm it, then you will then be issued a ticket which goes into your inventory then the X amount of pop tabs will be immediately withdrawn from your bank account.

• 5 minute stay - 500 pop tabs
• 10 minute stay - 1000 pop tabs
• 15 minutes stay - 1500 pop tabs

This isn't the exact prices or what the prices should be, it's just an example! I think there should be a maximum of 15 minutes! Also once your time has expired the ticket will be removed from your inventory and your vehicle will be come unlocked. 

*NOTE* From being issued the ticket there should be a timer on your screen so you know how long you have left!

Good suggestion, I personally think virtual garages being introduced would reduce this anyway but none the less this is still great way for the mod to combat this as it is becoming more and more of an issue on larger servers.  I thin it may work best if there is a designated area within the traders (e.g. car park area) where vehicles can be stored and anything outside that designated area is recycled/cleaned up/deleted, if possible. 

Do you mind if I add this to the stickied wishlist thread of features we would like to see?

i always thought how altis life let you place vehicles into the virtual garage's storage was a good way of keeping the safe zones clean, it would be good to have that in exile as well.

flat rate parking fee for leaving it there during restarts would be nice too.

For me virtual garage all the way.

It removes vehicles off the server to aid performance, its a money sink as they are expensive so they suck cash out the system.

I would have virtual garages on the server and have safe zones unlock cars on restart. Our safe zone is like a parking lot and we don't have many playing the server yet as its new

Only down side to a virtual garage is that then... no loss that is all. endless supply of vehicles, unless you make them ridiculously expensive and fragile?
