Hey Exile Linux server administrators, I figured we'd create a Skype-group to help each other out with questions and answers etc.

Add me: tobias.vincent.solem

And we can set it up!

Sapphire, I have Cent 7 and getting excellent performance from it. The hardware has a pretty good mitigating factor in it as well. Quad Xeon 5520, 32gb memory, 4tb storage, dedicated gig-e fiber connection, hosted in St. Louis.

I would agree having a common Teamspeak would be slightly more appealing than Skype, there are known security issues with Skype that some of us probably would feel a bit more comfortable using another option.. why not even Google Hangouts? Functions pretty much exactly the same way Skype does, yet being Linux users/admins, I doubt any of us would have a problem with the Linux/Android friendly google ;) Can host multiple voice/video chats, can use as dedicated chat client .. no security vulnerabilities.

iVaper: Well we are also satisfied with CentOS 7 - my friend who is working at Red Hat thinks that performance with Fedora could be eve better (newer packages) - we are going to try it in next few weeks, so  I can let you know.. We have Xeon E5-2620v2 (6/12 c/t) and it seems to be quite decent too (datacenter in Prague with 2x1 gpbs eth port).
