After game crash reconnecting to same server results in getting kicked for "Battleeye client not responding"

Question

The issue is related to this ticket but since the ticket is ignored, I'm asking for help, how server owners deal with it: https://feedback.bistudio.com/T127689#1770236
Whenever a player gets a game crash playing on a server with BattleEye enabled, reconnection to the same server will result in:
Reconnection works fine and player gets mission loaded, but after about 1-2 minutes of playing, he will get kicked from the server with the message "Battleeye client not responding".
This problem has been around for a while, and I cannot manage to find any fix for it.

It is server side as it can be fixed in two ways:

  1. Connecting to the other servers will work fine.
  2. Server restart will solve the problem.

If the player changes IP address via VPN service (not the connection, only IP) - it will solve the problem for that player and he will be able to reconnect without waiting for server restart.
It happens on both my servers(non-exile) and on exile servers of my friend. And maybe on other servers too as I've seen reports about it on KoTH servers.
Any tips?  Best regards.

Yes, you need to help us all apply pressure to Arma about it. Post in the BE channel in their Discord.

BE service is not releasing the client IP when the client suffers any kind of force disconnect. So, when they reconnect with the same IP, they get the proverbial 'bird' (middle finger...)

The only thing you can do is advise clients to switch on a VPN, restart their router if their IP is dynamic or, restart the server which restarts the BE server service.

The problem started a couple of arma updates back when Arma 'improved' / messed around with the default ports for BE and rcon....
