Repair glitch

So for the longest time I have not been able to repair broken vehicles. I go to my vehicle with duct tape. I scroll wheel to the repair option and hit enter. I press no other buttons. The repair status pops up and disappears immediately. I have no macros set that would cause buttons to be pressed. My friend can come and repair the vehicle with no problem. This is incredibly frustrating as i can't play the game by myself any more.

 

Any help is greatly appreciated!!
