Remove the crosshair?

Hello there Exilers!

 

Is it possible to remove the crosshair as I've seen on servers i'v been playing on and how? I read a post back in 2015/16 where they said it was imposible without risking messing up the server, is it still so to this day? thanks in advance!

Edit: I want to disable crosshair serverside and not clientside, sorry for being unclear.
