Zip Ties and Break Free

Question

Hi,

We noticed today that if a player (victim) is handcuffed with a zip tie and the perpetrator is more than 150 meters away from the victim, the victim will still be unable to break free. We corrected this. After this we noticed that, as the victim, if you attempt to "break free" using the contextual menu you are given a "missing tools" message. After a few hours of looking this over and re-testing we still cannot figure out why if the victim is  over 150m away from the perpetrator why it prompts the need for tools to break free.

This is the in-game image with error message:

The nex image is code from from exileserver_Object_handcuffs_breakfreerequest:

ExileServer_object_handcuffs_network_breakFreeRequest.png

and the last image is from exileserver_object_handcuffs_freerequest

If you guys could shed any light on how we could remove the need for tools to break free we'd be very, very grateful.

Thank you for your time.

The requirements are also in the client code.

Try changing it in these files as well:

ExileClient_object_handcuffs_breakFree.sqf

ExileClient_object_handcuffs_free.sqf

Yup, that did the trick. Changed the required tool to a compass after modifying those ExileClient files and it worked great. Thanks so much.
