Tool to detect my server proxy

9 posts in this topic

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if there's a sotfware or a tool on internet to know if my server is behind a proxy or it has a different public IP?

My Mobile App is not working and my server company tells me that there are not proxies. However Im not sure.

Thanks in advanced.

That's what mine told me, turns out it was on a machine with a different master IP address to our server IP address, I would never have known if Eichi hadn't worked so hard to make the discovery.

Who's your host dude?

Hi bro.. Thanks for your answer.

My company is GamingDeluxe. It's great and with a nice support. :)

And this is my server connection info: IP= 103.195.100.221  -  Port= 2300

Ask them if the machine that your server is on has a master IP and port number that's different from your server IP and port, that's the case for me but until we realised that it stuffed me right up.

Ok, thank you bro. I'll ask them.

And according to the post main question. Isn't there anyway to find that out aside of asking to my server provider?

I Don't know if I'm being honest, Eichi worked it out in my case while trying to find out why it wasn't working for us, I don't know how he did it though, sorry buddy

Ok bro, you are very kind on sharing your experience.

I'll ask them and post back here how it was :)

Have a good day.

no problem buddy, I know how frustrating it is, I was banging my head against a wall for over a week trying to work it out.

Now I can tell you that Im happy. :)

My company gave me the Master IP or Multihome IP of my server and the App works like a charm now.

As you said, it was a different IP.

Thanks a lot for your time and your guide.
