Be able to sell LMGs directly to vendor instead of loading up vehicles and scrapping cargo...please forgive if this is a double search engine never works for me...

You can sell it if you drop your backpack. Also you can sell an item from vehicle parked close enough to a trader, it will have it's option in storage menu.
