It has less armor because it has the mini gun on it that's what balances it otherwise it would be OP as fuck.

I think the armor is broken.

Windows can stop a lynx round If you are lucky but the doors itself wont stop a 9mil.

Dont know If this is going to be changed.

In A2  it was based on the real vehicle witch is heavily armoured hence why it could take such a pounding! nothing wrong in asking why this aint the case this time round!

also why is the BTR-40 so poor i got kill by a 5,56 from a fresh repair and that thing can take 7.62 all day long IRL

tbh, the whole armor/damagedetection for cars in exile seems to be broken. (or maybe it's intentionality to keep things "balanced"....)

 

vehicles driving by with 150mph and it  takes me 2-5 bullets from 100m to hit people inside the car and i don't even aim properly. the first few frags i thought, wow,  i'm a lucky bastard -  but that happend like 40+ times by now, so it's defo a exile thing.

they might be hard to fix.

Maybe they are working as intended?

Sucks because the models are awesome and more servers are going modless.

i also like the fact of servers not having to run more mods, now i have my humv with the mini gun there is no need for me to play on a server running mas :-)
