found a post here that works for me.

basically run arma3.exe as administrator!

Game still crashes for me while joining a server, even when running as administrator. I've never had it crash while alt-tabbing out when it loads.

None of the above worked for me, this is what works for me 80% of the time, delete mission pbo from arma 3 cache folder logoff system then log back in, dont know if it makes a difference to have a password enabled or not, but i do, my system is set to auto login at first startup, this works that well i even built a batch file to automate the process, Now if anyone has a method to get my Headless client to connect i am all ears, it too suffers the same fate, but on the bright side the HC does not take as long to start up for a retry,

Good luck guys hope they get a fix for this soon, Apex is in a few days and i am struggling to get my missions finished,  if i had to take an educated guess i would say its got something to do with the database, reason i think this is because my HC stops just before it gets a chance to make an entry to the DB. and lets face it the last update was a big one.

No "fixes" have worked for me.

Alt-Tab, administrator mode, deleting mission files, running it without any command line arguments, clapping my hands while sneezing.. nothing works.

i no how you feel man, i feel like this with my HC, but the delete mission file logoff and back on thing works well for me, if you are trying it, make sure you have a password, i have and it might make a difference. remember only works about 80% of the time,

should have said only works 80% of the time first time, if it does not work first time rinse and repeat.

None of that worked for me either. Maybe if we Alt-Tab while launching arma3.exe in admistrator mode and add this (below) just before we Alt-Tab back to Arma 3, it will work. Maybe, just maybe. :P

this all started with the new version ... devs acts like its just one or two people .. I know no one that can get in consistently since 0.9.8 out of 50 of my friends that I know .. none can get in a server every time since the update .. I just went back to epoch .. it just works .. and few servers have switched to new version many are still at old version because know one can get in

Its a memory leak or a bug with Exile and some Mod.

I have run in admin, deleted cache, restarted... cold booted... pulled the power plug and waited for the memory to clear.

But the ONLY time i crash "consistently" is when I play CERTAIN EXILE servers with a combination of mods including Esseker, CUP, and some others when loading the game AFTER a "Memory cant be read/written" crash OR if I load Arma 3, play and then exit the game.

My usual method of loading

1. delete cache

2. load single player game with all mods

3. exit single player

4. run multiplayer

MOST Time it fixes it.

If that doesnt work.

Close computer, wait 15 minutes with NO POWER... restart and follow steps 1 - 4

How do i know it has something to do with EXILE and Mods?  Because it doesnt do that when playing other mods.  It only does it when i run EXILE with multiple other mods.  Zombies, CUP, uniforms and guns... ESSEKER... Boom crash city

Edit:  EVERYONE I PLAY WITH has the same damn problem
