Crashes? Please help!

When the Arma 3 .exe crashes, there is no usable info at all for us. We can only guess what it could be, as crashes can only be debugged with access to the Arma 3 source code - which we do not have.

If the latest version crashes for you, please post the following filled out. Maybe it can help us to at least get a hint what it could be.

Every time thus far when loading into a vanilla Arma Server through the server browser.
Hasn't happened yet when loading into a vanilla server through a bat file.

New non-lobby loading screen during loading map

The non-lobby loading screen with diff pics every time (gimmie the lobby back!! the cow scares me)

it crashed 12 times in a row, then on the 13th time it just loaded in. Literally changed nothing, didn't load unload any mods, params, legit did NOTHING.

I imagine that would be no help, i dont see much difference in the log with a normal start.. And im on my laptop so cannot upload the dump file.

 

As for fixing it, how i avoid it is starting arma without battleeye, when joining a server arma offers you to enable battleye by restarting the game, and then it joins the server.

I've been having the same issues. Error would pop while mission file was downloading etc etc

I may have a temp fix... Try alt tabbing as soon as you hit join server. Don't tab back in until you are 100% sure the missionfile has downloaded.

really weird but this worked for me aswell, thank you!!

 

funny thing is i only had to do this once, now everything works fine on every server join without alt+tabbing
