Hi Guys

I keep getting this when my game begins to download the mission file. It worked 100% fine with version 0.961

I've redownloaded exile, verified arma 3 files, tried different servers

It only happens with exile

Hey

make yourself a "removeArmaTrash.bat" file and put this code in:
 

rmdir "%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Arma 3\" /s /q

or just go into your appdata\local folder and remove the Arma 3 folder.

That folder only contains cache + old mission files + rpt files and crash dumps, anything you need will be downloaded once you start the game/connect to a server.

If that won't the issue you need to completely get rid of Battleye (the service as well) and reinstall it afterwards.

For me it never had to do anything with the malloc I was using.

I thought this was just me. I verified my files through steam and it repaired two, then I was in. Probably a coincidence.

damn man, i tried that as well, it also repaired 2 files but still getting crash

Same man. I get this as well as a bunch of other memory crashes and various windows errors.

Again, only since the latest update.

Anyone got any ideas?

thanks @Smok3 but none of those options helped, i can join king of the hill servers fine, its just exile that i have this problem with.

jjvaardt, what servers you tryin to join? Apex Tanoa?

nope, just normal altis, MGT server for 1 and then a couple of local south african servers

I'am also having this issue. Looking like it has somthing to do with windows 10

So i found a temp fix. It is to do with windows 10 and one of the new DLL files added with in the update. For now till dev's put a proper fix in just add  -malloc=system  to your aram 3 start up and done

I have the same problem. -malloc=system  doesent work for me. Still crashing
