Placing Some Explosives (IEDS)

Question

So as the title states we are having some issues placing IEDs (Small/Large mines and dug-ins) on our server. We can place everything else in game explosive wise except for the IED family of explosives. I looked through the files, infistar, etc. and searched here finding only one post with no resolution or follow up. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Appreciated.

@FluffyBunnyFee

Yep, small ones work I spoke too soon. Only Large Urban and Dug-ins do not.

@Snakeyes1

@InsertCoins

So after some fiddling around and removing all the add on's one by one I have on the server nothing worked. So I tried my local vanilla server and it of course it worked which made me wonder WTF was going on. I went back to my live server and accidentally joined with all of CUP unloaded (due to earlier joining my vanilla local server) and Large IEDs worked again. So I backed out, loaded all CUP mods that my live server uses (CUP Weapons, Vehicles and Units) and re-joined my live server and it didn't work again so I unloaded each one by one. I unloaded CUP Vehicles from my client, no joy. I then unloaded CUP Units, no joy but when I unloaded CUP Weapons placing Large IED's of both types worked again. What's up with that noise? Is it possible that CUP Weapons is doing something to make it's built in IEDs work that is conflicting with vanilla Arma's IEDs?

EDIT: Since going away from CUP Weapons this is no longer an issue.

@InsertCoins  Here is all I got running and added on: VEMFr, DMS, Occupation, R3F, Igiload, SA Towing, InfiStar, Enigma Revive, CBA, CUP Weapons/Vehicles/Units and just a few minor scripts for autochute, welcome message, etc. I dug through most (R3F is a bit of a pain translating) and removed any blacklisted items that I found. Doesn't work as admin or regular player but works for me when playing on other servers.

yeeeaaaaaah, that's going to be a pain. Probably your best bet is to disable all mods and then just enable them one by one, to see which one is the problemmaker

Dumb question. You are outside of the safe zones when you try to set an IED? If you try to set an IED within a safe zone you won't even see it when it is placed, it just disappears. At least that was my experience about 6 months ago.  :)

@Snakeyes1

Yes, trying it in safe zone it won't let me place it but it will remove it from my inventory. Outside the safe zone it will give me the option via scroll wheel, when I select place it does the animation as if I am placing it but it will not remove it from inventory. It seems to only be these 4:

            "IEDLandBig_Remote_Mag",
            "IEDLandSmall_Remote_Mag",
            "IEDUrbanBig_Remote_Mag",
            "IEDUrbanSmall_Remote_Mag",

They are in my loot tables which is probably the only thing I have yet to tweak. They can be purchased and sold via the trader, and I have tried placing them as an admin and as a regular player, spawning them in and purchasing from traders to no avail. Later today I will do what InsertCoins suggested and turn off mod by mod and hopefully isolate it. Other then some AI balancing this is my only issue currently with our server build before we migrate it over to a live server. From what I remember the only add-on that even had a blacklist other than infiStar (currently set to false) was VEMFr which was removed.

Haven't played on one server where large IED's are placeable.  Always bugged and unable to place it.   Small ones have always worked fine across multiple servers I have played......Have you tried small ones to make sure it is all IEDs?
