[SOLVED] Connecting Failed

Question

Hey guys, I suddenly have a very strange issue.

When I try to connect to any mod server I get Connecting Failed even before I enter the lobby. This goes for everything, Exile, Desolation, life etc. A local Wasteland server I can join no problem.

This has been happening for the past two days this morning before work I tried and all was working perfectly, this evening same issue, connecting failed message again.

What could it be? Windows Updates are disabled, only update I had was TS.

Did you try verifying integrity of game cache on steam via:

1. Right click on Arma 3 under "MY GAMES" in steam.
2. Click properties.
3. Click local files tab
4. Click "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE"

Let it run through and try again (Can take up to several minutes to an hour). This will solve 90% of problems with Arma 3.

If this doesn't solve your problem, let me know.

I'll give it ago this evening. However this morning I tried again, I simulated everthing exactly like last night, Web browsing, TS connected, etc. The only change was that my wifes laptop was not on and I could connect no problem.... Could it possibly be something being block by my wifes PC on the LAN at home?
