[SOLVED] Infistar Bans

18 posts in this topic

I do not seem to have the ban.txt folder that infistar is supposed to store bans in. I have had a couple of people that have been automatically "banned" by the anti hack but they are only kicked are able to rejoin the server.

It has probably just been kicks then :P

make sure to use the latest version  & you should be fine

bans are done via arma mp commands

-> #exec ban uid
and stored in ban.txt (not bans.txt - that is BE stuff)

cheers

I don't think that Arma_ban.DLL is used any more since he does not have it in the 40C.

But would that .dll being there affect anything if its obsolete?

Nope.. I don't have it in. 56e2ff3a946ea_2016-03-1112_24_40-66.150.

Well if its not used, that .dll being there shouldn't make a difference. Do you have a ban.txt file?

yeap. I have seen the banned in my log too. There does not seem to be entry onto the ban.txt itself. So basically after reboot they do come back.

I see what the issue was now. I didn't have a ban.txt because no one had actually been manually banned before. One of our admins had to ban someone today, and when he did, it created that ban.txt file and stored the name in there. So yeah, its not there till you decide to hit the hammer.
