There are a few different things going on, mine was solved with, adding the lines to the database, reinstalling the complete exile update by hand, and wiping the database. I tried numerous times, without wiping the database to no avail. My hosting company recommended the full wipe. It worked. I would say there are many issues with this update that need fixes. I am compiling a list such as, people losing funds after signing out and logging back in, there are some issues with the party/family, people are being split up in different party's. Little tweaking things. All around we are enjoying the new upgrade,

Ok it was solved with adding the entry's above, manually installing the update and "wiping" the database.. We are in now thanks for all the help.

sorry, I made the change and still the same problem. When are the devs going to look into this? Do they check the forum after an upgrade?

or can someone send an upgraded file so we can upgrade it.

I am not trying to be a pain but could some one show us a screenshot of what needs to be changed. I am lost... or simple directions, including file names and locations. This has been a long road over night trying to fix this.

Hello and thanks for responding and trying to help, however, which file are you talking about? There are alot of files under the extDB I took a screenshot of one I thought it was? I will try anything at this point

Ok I have made a video of what is going on, and took screenshots of the video, to better show the time line. The end result is a frozen screen, (Not black, but terrain and a tree, on a side of some sort of hill. it stays like that until I close the program in task manager.

I really do not wan't to lose the small community I have over something like a small bug that was not tested properly.

LOL, I don't even get any screen for Tanoa, no box just a black screen .... I cant hit esc.. nothing happens, But, hopefully this is the problem and they can work it out.

I restarted the server once again,,,, now I get in, get a black screen.... But now see my server messages. Something is wrong with this update. Hopefully the devs will find the issue.

did not work... getting stuck on connecting screen now.... Amazing... This is why I hate major updates

I am working on installing every file by hand....... I will let you know how I make out. I already found 1 missing .dll file that was not in the patch. So when I fire it up we will see

Thanks for the info, but I scratched all the DMS for now and other scripts until I get this working. I will downlod the file from exile and see if I can do this manually.

Hi and thanks for the info but do you rent a server from a hosting provider or do you own your own from home? The problem is they gave us specific directions and a mod patch file, the directions were: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now i removed all of my custom files for good measure and installed the patch, they requested.
