    Single Player

I'm wanting to use a spare PC to run a server on to play solo. Before I attempt to get it running, I had a question. I intend it to be heavy on roaming AI and missions, similar to some of the harder PvE servers. Will I be able to just add said mods and go or is there going to have to be and code/script editing?

    [SOLVED] Custom exile loading screen

I jump around, haven't found a server to stay on. Of the 5 or 6 I've joined, apparently none of them know,

    [SOLVED] Custom exile loading screen

    I'm assuming that's for somebody who runs a server....I don't.
  4. The new Exile loading screen needs to go. I'm 99.999999% it's the cause of all of the memory crashes. I only get them playing Exile and they started when the loading screen was changed to the custom one. I'm by no means an expert on this stuff. I'm just a peon who plays, no coding, networking, etc experience at all.

The Special Purpose Helmet is too strong

Kind of defeats the purpose then..they should disable all the thermals or none. Not pick and choose. Let the server admins pick and choose as they wish.

The Special Purpose Helmet is too strong

I will agree it is a bit much. To be fair, the downside to the uniform is lack of capacity. There is no downside to the helm. It even has the highest armor value of all the helmets. In the end, if the Exile team disabled all thermal on scopes and such in the mod, they should with this helm as well. All or nothing, then let server owners decide what they prefer.

DLC weapons and the issue of P2W

No, I bought the DLC's. You're still playing the game, are you not? You're not forced to use any of the DLC content. In Exile, you can still sell it for pop tabs without seeing the ads, thereby letting you buy something without any ads. You might be limited, but it's still playable with the DLC. It's nothing game breaking. Damage is based off ammunition, so you're not missing anything but skins basically. Pro Tip: Not hard to recognize what's DLC and what isn't. Learn what to avoid or buy the DLC.
  8. Repairs: With duct tape being the be all repair item right now, I really think the repair time should be increased by at least 40%. The current time would be fine if we were repairing one item at a time, but it's far too fast for going from almost exploding to 100%. Hot-wire: We're supposed to be convicts, I'm pretty sure we have learned the skills to break in and steal a vehicle faster than we can now. Suggest a decrease in hot-wire time by at least 25%.

DLC weapons and the issue of P2W

Exile isn't vanilla ArmA. At no point do you need DLC to play Exile or vanilla ArmA Just because you chose to not buy the DLC, you think server owners have to cater to you and the hell with those who did buy the DLC?

    Realistic Loot

There is a limit. Any full auto made after May 19, 1986 cannot be legally owned by civilians (Firearm Owners' Protection Act). The registry was closed, nothing can be added. The pool is limited. 181,000 is the estimate on how many are out there that mere civilians can legally own. It takes more than money. You have to find somebody willing to sell as well. Not like you can go buy a new one at the local gun shop.

No, there aren't many Americans with fully automatic weapons. At least, not legally, as there's a limited number of fully automatic weapons available to civilians. As such, the cost of them alone keeps many people from being able to afford buying one. Typical full auto rifles that can legally be owned by civilians are $15k-25k. Considering most people have to get loans to buy a car for that much, I doubt they'll have $18,000 to spend on a M-16.
