Well ultimately this is what helped kill the Epoch mod. Players eventually have so much money to spend they just grief the heck out of anyone else's base buying explosives and cause people to realize what a waste of time it is rebuilding the same base over and over.

I do not understand why people like base raiding so much since everything is locked inside of bases that are actually valuable. Why can't you people just camp outside of the base for the thrill of the kill. You can setup roadblocks or ambush points around the map. Don't forget you can raid a cities and take them over. It seems to me these people who want to raid bases are just looking for easy ways to break into bases when base owners are offline.
