hello everyone so i tried changing over to 64 bit exe for the server i got the BE and RCon stuff right and auto restarts work 100% on 32 bit but as soon as i change batch file to use 64 bit and the server starts it does the lock at start the kicks then game started but never unlocks it. is there something different to get 64 bit working with the auto restart system? if not what i may due for a work around is turn off the lock setting in the exile config.cpp file so it just kicks at 2 mins then shutdown the server for the batch to relaunch so it doesnt run into locking server at all. But i do like the locking idea so people joining with in the 2 minute mark doesnt get screwed over lol. i already made a reply on a post but the last reply was pretty old back in 2015 so i figured i make this post. Thanks in advance for the help and info.

i also want to find this out as i added a wheel and tracked apc vehicle to my traders and it would be boss to lift and drop them at missions to support players already there at the mission. I suspect its not a weight limitation but a list that each tow capable vehicle has for what it is allowed for it to tow if its setup like arma 2 towing script and how it works for when i hosted epoch on arma 2, just not sure if that is in the exile mod pbo its self or if its put into the exile mission file its self. later if i stumble across it on my seach for it and another exile specific setting im looking for ill post its location here. (Changing the warning message when using voice in side chat and actually allowing voip in side chat as my server is a pve server and want it used for finding a group or trading.)

i got it it was be and i missed typed the server command password in the .cfg file for the server but the rest of everthing using that password was the correct aspelling of it lol i feel so dumb i need to get glasses or redo my desk so my monitors are way closer but i have a steering wheel stand in front of me so it makes it kinda hard thanks anyways for your time and reading this. Edit: this may help people confirm they did it right if u put at the end of ur guide: If done right this should show up in the server console when it first starts up: Hope this help others if this is somthing that might be useful to put at the end of your guide. so it just uses what in exile already i did notice there is a file called what the auto restarts for dummies post has u make in the exile pbo its self already not the confige file the actual one as i wa in there for indestructable base setting. So after getting rcon working and connected setting the password and turning that stuff one and correctly will start it with the batch file in the background to relaunch after shutdown through rcon? sorry for this mess but its been a real pain getting this last bit working correctly im not looking at being able to remotely getting in the server as its a home setup and the otehr admins can get what they need ingame with rcon/BE. been at it for two and half weeks getting a server running right also warning messing work right? if its working is this supossed to show up at server launch: Failed attempt to execute serverCommand '#lock' by server. After the mission has been read by the server thanks for the info and this iformation may have fixed my issue just had a few questions on this also i think the dummies using stuff from before they had that thread check.sqf they put in exile so i may have been putting obsolete code into the mission file and breaking the working base code. Edit: so it didnt send messages or shutdown my server but i suspect its cus im not using the default battleye folder and i didnt have the custom location defined in the launch parameters. I will let you know what happens when the next restart is supposed to happen at 9:54 my time in the morning lol so in a few hours.

still having trouble it just doesnt do anything lol i have rcon setup but it just doesnt send anything also i get this at start up Failed attempt to execute serverCommand '#lock' by server. and thats all it does. the batch file works great just the rest doestn seem to do anything. Edit: so i did some looking at thing it seem other than that first message at start it doesnt use rcon commands for anything past it. this is still working on 1.0.3 exile right? i did notice the file made is in the base code for exile so is it in by default and im breaking it trying to use this script lol. atm i got automated restarts working between the batch file looking for the active process and a game management tool i used for empyron for auto restarts for the uptimer and auto shutdown i just dont have the warning messages cus that tool wont connect to rcon sence it requires a username its mainly used for telnet not rcon if there is a username that would work in rcon as a default then i could login there and use it for warning messages but didnt find any info on that lol.

I got it woot woot figured out it was a port issue and where that server management tool uses battle eye its not the default location lol oops. Thanks again for everyones help!

hello i have an issue with this, I have followed the steps that the OP posted i dont have bec and i do get this in the server console at a start up: Failed attempt to execute serverCommand '#lock' by server. but nothing past that no warning messages or any restarts. i have all the passwords set correctly also should i add the customcodecfg stuff so that this is set at the top cus i have 3 things there to be laoded or does placement not matter. i did look into some info and noticed that i needed a be.cfg for rcon to work right with the correct stuff for the password info and port would that maybe cause it? really this si the final big piece that needs to work before everything is perfect and i can add to it over time for my server. Edit and for some reason i cant get a rcon tool to connect to my server not sure why rcon isnt working Thank for the help in advance.

i got it in the initserver.sqf there was a command set to createvehicle for the static items instead of createvehiclelocal the original code was letting clients make the call and not the actual server. thanks tho and sorry to fill this section up.

im got the message i want to find the actual message and change it as i want to allow talking put instead of the curretn warning make it a message that reminds u to be plite and not spam the chat. i dont get the timer thing just want to change the text. thanks in advance. also i dont use bec if that matters with anything lol

Edit so it isnt the config.cpp reset that and still got an issue. im clueless with what it is now i did watch the static stuff get loaded in after i logged in to the server when another player connected and when that player disconnected it spawned more static stuff like the pallets of bricks and the generator by the air craft dealer. Also the counters around the food trader and there are mutipule table in front of the guns and equipment traders instad of one overlapping each other.

hmm i didnt add anything there all i have added is a new giu disabled the default on added ryan zombies and ai with mission i did add a piece of code to make buildings indestructable in the base exile server code but past that i havent added buildings anywhere i may just have to remake the server lol all good i have it planned to be fixed during the week thats coming lol thanks for the help tho.

Hello everyone i made a server last week and been editing in ai and zombies and stuff adn im not sure exactly when it started but my trader zones look like all hell broke loose at them lol. Things are thrown all around and stuff no missing items or traders jsut sometimes i gert stuff blocking an entrance. My question is what file effect that on server restarts. i also edited the base exile server code to allow indestructable bases but i doubt that is the issue as it edits in a file not connected to traders regaurd map placement of static items. If more info is needed hit me up i want to try fixing it rarther than trouble shooting which pbo it is and then have to edit that pbo all over again from the begining lol. Thanks in advance!

i got a issue with trader zones on map loading when the map loads traders are there but the zone looks like all hell broke loose pallets and stuff throw all over and sometimes the food vender is thrown against the door he is facing with the counter he is connected too lol. I was wondering what file in the mission pbo effect this cus im betting i fat fingered somthing there and would perfer to hunt for the messed code then start the mission file from scratch.
