Here lies the issue I have, If I want to play (over)Epoch, I will play the real version, not a clone, I came to exile hoping for something different from epoch, but it is finally just becoming a clone of epoch, with a few sprinkles of origins thrown in. once the new update drops, I will just go back to epoch, or look for something else all together. Why play a clone when I can play the original. When they come up with original content for exile, I will consider playing it again. -
I am having a similar issues, when I log out, then log back in, my thirst and food resets back to 100%, when I log out I check the database and it always shows my food and thirst at 100% after I leave the sever, my position still saves properly as does my vehicles that are bought, it's just the food and thirst issue, I am hoping someone can enlighten me on what could be the issue.

i see you fixed it, but sorry i forgot to set that back to 0, sorry again, i was testing spawns and forgot to turn it off

well i got my server working, but I still have an issue with the loot script, is there a new way it has to be implemented? or just put the #include line in the config.ccp in the exile server config.pbo. any suggestions would be helpful

will try it later, since I am not sure if I added it correctly the first time, basically I put the file in the exile server config pbo then in the config file I put. #include "name of loot file.h" in the same place i did for older exile, so mabe I am adding it wrong because as soon as I take that line out of the config, server boots up. but now I have another issue, now I get a new error while server is starting, it is... 18:37:29 Missing addons detected: 18:37:29 cup_basedata 18:37:29 Warning Message: You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.cup_basedata ning Message: You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.cup_basedata it does this over and over, I tried adding it to the missonsql, but still having the issue, I have cups terrain core installed, key in keys folder and I have it in the launch perimeters, so I am at a loss tonight and I need sleep. tried it with new map, no error, but now it just stops. before I got this error edit.... I figured out the issue. it does not like the loot positions I got from here, took them out and it started, now I have to figure out the loot

I am having an issue with getting the server to start, the is the error I get in the rpt, 15:43:05 Conflicting addon CARoads2 in 'ca\roads2\', previous definition in 'Fixes\Roads2\' The only thing I can tell is that the roads 2 in the map folder is conflicting with the cups terrains core, but how to fix it without changing the map or cups so server will start?

I really do have to thank the spearhead team, because without your files, I would have been lost at doing the loot. and I never would have thought to make it a seperate file either, there might be one or two building I might have missed, and If I find them I will update my loot positions to reflect that,

OK I have it finished, and loot is working, traders are working, so I now have a working vanilla al rayak server ready for mods and scripts. so I added it to the maps section of the downloads & releases, here: http://exile.majormittens.co.uk/topic/11347-al-rayak-vanilla-server/ Let me know if it works.

Here is my vanilla Al Rayak server files, they include almost everything you need to get it working, You will need CUP Terrains core, that can be added through the steam workshop then copied over to your server folder, just remember to rename it to @CUP_Terrains_Core because the way steam names it, there are spaces, but DO NOT rename the original folders steam downloads to your original location. next you need to add the al rayak map to your server as well, of course copy the keys over for both the map and cup terrains core to your server keys folder. Now hopefully you already have a vanilla altis server running and you know how to edit your config files. take the Exile.pja310.pbo out of the mpmisson folder of my download, and copy it to your sever mpmisson folder. then you can take the @exile server folder from my download and replace the one in your server folder. Now comes the part were you have to work a little, edit the config.cgf file as well as your extdb-conf inside the @exileserver folder to match the info on your original server, including server name, password and such. I even included an exile auto start batch file that I used to start my server. Now if you only want the loot spawn config, it is a separate .h file in the exile_server_config .pbo, if you look at the config.cpp in the exile_server_config.pbo you will see the line, ( #include "CfgBuildings_AlRayak.h" ) and were I put it in the config.cpp. basically you are telling the config.cpp to also look at the CfgBuildings_AlRayak.h file for loot positions, so you dont have to mess with the config, and just add new loot positions as you need without worrying about messing up the original file. basically this is how spearhaed has theirs set up, I just copied the way they did it. Here is the link for these files, and I hope they work fine for you. I don't know if you will like how I configured the loot, but I make a few choices about what spawns were, like in the mosques, I have military loot spawning, just because military bases are far and few between on this large map, you can always change their loot class if you want it different. I also upped the loot placement, the loot script I had would sometimes have only 3 positions in a multi level building, to me that is not enough, I have put enough positions in some buildings so if you have you loot spawn config to only spawn no more than 3 or 4 loot positions per building, and the building has 10 or more positions, then you will have to search the entire building for loot, not just the bottom floor. there was almost no industrial loot, so I added loot to the top of the big fuel tanks, and well as other places, basically if you can get on a roof, you might want to check for loot. Let me know how it works for you, but remember I am a noob at this, so I might not be able to answer a question if you cannot get it working, but I will try.

Just another update....... All traders are finished and rpt log errors have been corrected for trader items placed. vehicles were spawning off the map a little, so now that has been fixed as well, all that is left is for the loot spawns, and I am working on them right now, there are a few buildings not getting loot spawns so working on that now, so if I keep on it, I should have it ready to share by monday, if not sooner, but I work long hours on the weekend so not much time to do it between shifts. Update of the update..... I believe I have all loot positions I need, now I have to edit them into one line for each building since the method I used makes one line of text for each loot spot, so there is extra I need to trim, I have noticed by comparing the default exile lot, with the custom loot table I have, as well as the new loot positions I just did, there was quit a few buildings that the custom loot spawn I have, missed, especially industrial & factory loot spawns, so once I edit my loot table, I will merge it with the custom table, then I will merge it all with the exile default table, then I can double & triple check that loot is spawning, but i am tired and have a long work weekend upon me, so I SHOULD have this finished up sometime monday, but I wont make promises due to my kids are out of school monday so I have to do things with them first.

Well just an update for anyone who is interested in a vanilla al rayak server, I have completed 3 new trader cities, basically all I did was delete the building info from altis, and created new trader cities, then I repositioned the altis traders, so as it stands only one trader has an aircraft dealer, just like vanilla altis, I still have the 2 boat traders to put down, as I am giving them their own plots next to the river, and their safe zones will be smaller than regular traders. I am still having issues with the armory trader that sits down, no mater how many times I adjust the facing position, I cannot get the trader and chair to line up. and the vehicle traders are a little off from the vehicles they crawl under, but at least I have gotten the food trader lined up on the table, can't say that for the hardware trader though, one of his legs still clips trough the table he sits one, But other than I need to tweak the loot positions for a couple of building, the server is almost done, I will wipe out all my info that you wont need, and post the mpmisson.pbo as well as all other files needed to just drop it in and get playing. That is if anyone is interested in a ready to go vanilla al rayak, you will have to configure your standard things like name, password and other things to your liking, but at least you wont have to do what I am doing just to play.

I have the loot positons fo al rayak, I have 2 different loot positions, one from donkey punch server, and the other from spearhead server, the only thing I have to do is edit them out of their files, because their files are so customised that i was getting a bunch of errors and it was becoming a hassle to keep editing them, so I can just copy out the loot positions and paste them in my vanilla file. but now that I have the spawn positions done, now I am looking on the map for 3 spots to put trader zones, I dont want to copy anyone elses, I want to make them myself, but using the default altis traders as a guide I might be adding more building to the map, but if I use a3 building, the default loot spawns will aready be there, so less work to do.

that sounds about right, there is a tutaorial on this site that shows you how to do it using the 3d editor addon for a3.
