Group I play with fell apart. Looking for a new one. Have 3500 hours in Arma 3 and around 1000 in Arma 2. Played Exile for a bit, 500+ hours. Just looking for a new group or players. Id like it to be 18+, but am open as long as you are mature. I play on KOTH as well and also spend a far amount of time in DCS and other flight simulators. I can fly the shit out of a little bird :). This may have been discussed before, but has anyone else seen issues with some AI dying as soon as the mission spawns? the AI die right on the crate. No idea why. Im assuming the crate is killing them or they are inside each other or something along those lines. Pulling my hair out trying to find what it is.

It may just be the Tanoa objects themselves regardless if you own them or not and regardless of what map you're on. Is this happening on placed objects only or on the Tanoa map itself with no placed objects? Id be interested to see if it was specific objects as well. What objects did you have placed? Mine were the container stacks and the green h-barriers of differing types.

Have you added the trader to the initPlayerLocal.sqf? Trader locations have to be added to that file for them to show in game. This is what a trader will look like in that sqf. Note that this is not the entire thing, just the trader line for an Armory trader. Loot not spawning in every city and building

Have you put in a place a lootbuildings.hpp file that includes the new spawn locations for the OCP assets? Exile does not do it itself. You either have to find one that someone else has already done or you have to place the loot spawns yourself. -
Through some testing of my own, the signature checks are coming from people that do not own Tanoa. If they encounter a Tanoa object there is a chance that they will get the failure and DC. My fix on my server was to remove those objects and replace them.

Are you only getting the Sdar and nothing else? Your main issue aside from the Sdar, if that is even an issue, is more than likely the failing to change the values in the config.cpp. You need to modify the above settings. I think default settings are pretty low. SpawnInterval, MaximumPositionCoverage, and MaximumNumberOfItemsPerLootSpot are going to be the main ones. Descriptions for each should be explained in the above code.- 1 reply

The Short Bus is a harder Exile server that aims to bring Exile back to its roots. There is no base spawning, no deploying cars or ATVs, and no easy buying or respect. The server aims to force people to work to get what they want and be more tactical in order to do it. Weapons are more expensive and much higher levels of respect are needed to get the items and vehicles that you need. I want this to be a server for the players and I am willing to listen as an admin to things that you think should be included and will make the server better. I just launched the server last Friday and have been getting it to the place that I want it. One one of the last things left to do is to get a player base. Can someone possibly explain how to add the recipes of Extended Building Mod to this script? Ive been trying to read about how to do it, but I can't seem to find anything definitive on it.

Have you added the correct trader tables in your config.cpp file? Can you post it here so we can take a look? My guess is that you have the items added to the traders, but you have not added the pricing tables that allow you to sell them.

When I attempt to open mine with notepad or notpade++ it displays a ton of nuls. The files works fine in 3den and the game, but I cant edit it.

Got it working a few days ago. I renamed the @Chernarus Open Project folder to @OCP and it seems to work just fine. A3launcher recognizes it and all. I surmise that the launch parameters didnt like it due to spaces and the lack of "".

I can open .pbo's just fine. The mission.sqm file is an .sqm extension and does not open with PBO Manager to my knowledge.
