My best guess is the "Missing description.ext::header" as to why my server wont let me past the loading screen. Here is my RPT just in case. https://pastebin.com/1wuVNb91 Anyone have any idea why it throws that error, my description.ext seems to have the header in the right place? Or what the other cause could be?

Step 6: Open the "CfgInteractionMenus.cpp" and follow steps. Note: If not using Recruit AI app don't include the bodyguard block. I read that in the README but the "CfgInteractionMenus.cpp" has no steps in it that I can see. I assume I should add the classes missing under there respective parent class. I did come across an ambiguity. I see default exile has a class GrindLock under construction, and ExAD provides a class Grind??? Do I delete/ignore/something?

Weird. Try reinstalling cup. Make sure you have moved the server keys to the appropriate folder. If you are still having issues later today come grab me. Have a couple other things to try

No. And clean is find. Should work for local. If it doesnt do it for someone elses exile and then switch back. The issue isnt a mod issue it is a V1.66 bug.

Heres what you do. 1. Unload all mods except CBA and CUP (or whatever map mod you are using) 2. Load Arma. Load editor. Pick the chernarus map. Boot it. Once it loads exit arma. 3. Select the server in the launcher, apply correct mods. Click join. 4. When the load screen comes up. Alt+Tab out and wait a bit for the game to download the missionfile. Give it longer than you normally would just to be safe. 5. When you think the mission file is downloaded and your booted tab back into arma. Let me know if this doesnt solve your problem. If it does. Consider hitting the like button.

I believe it doesnt count comments so that wouldn't be exactly where the issue is

What exactly happens when you try to load? Does arma crash? Does the picture of the map in the top right show altis or tanoa instead of chernarus?

You and EXP are exactly what is wrong with the development community. You an EXP admin? Good. Tell them they're "encrypted" PBO got broke. They should quit stealing other people's work and passing it off as their own.

Oops. Yes infiSTAR. I don't want to unbind shift or 4. I want to remove the function all together from infistar.

How does one disable to shift + 4 causing you to fly?

I am having the above issue. I thought I had a bad infistar install but the problem still persists. Even when I remove the infistar PBO. So I doubt that is the issue. Can you confirm infistar is or isn't the problem (bad install or something, I know infistar is solid work) for me?

I am running CUP, TRYK, DMS, ZCP, Enigma, infiSTAR, and Exad. My host is QGS. They tried moving me to a different box and it didn't fix it. Basically anytime you try to pick something up, open a door, get ina vehicle, etc. it lags for 1-2 minutes. I will try to pick up a rifle. Start running and a minute or 2 later it will pop into my hands. Shooting and movement doesnt lag. The server resources aren't spiked. This has been going on since before the 1.66 update. I reinstalled infistar yesterday and it seemed like everything was working. Then get on today and it is broken again. If I suicide and try to respawn I get error creating bambi/character and it spams this in the rpt 10:44:14 No player found for channel 307527808 - message ignored I confirmed my friend is having the same issue. anyone got any insight? Don't. Host Havoc is garbage. GQS offers services to install all that for you. I haven't had the best of luck with it so far but better than host havoc by far. I just realized this a dead thread someone brought back to life...Sorry.

You need completely delete DMS from your PBO and download it from the github link. I did and if you go and look at fn_createmarker inside the newest version you can see that the markers are replaced with the new ones. something like this. Will be in there. You don't have the latest version if you don't see that in the Create Marker Function

Figured out the problem. QGS installer is installing a very old version, before these markers were used.

how do I get these instead of colored circles for DMS

DMS missions for me just show colored circles for the difficulty/map markers. How did you get those chevron and colonel rank ones?
