finally a proper server that knows what "DayZ" means. Zombies are just right, certain loot only spawns at specific places, heli crashes, persistent non lockable vehicles, even has a proper Sector B type island! Definitely one of the best servers for PVP when it gets full population.

1. Unpack your mission.pbo 2. In your mission file, create a folder and name it "overrides", place the two files in the folder 3. In your config.cpp go to CfgExileCustomCode and copy/paste two lines: ExileClient_system_radiation_initialize = "overrides\ExileClient_system_radiation_initialize.sqf"; ExileClient_system_radiation_event_onPlayerSpawned = "overrides\ExileClient_system_radiation_event_onPlayerSpawned.sqf"; 4. Repack your mission.pbo If you use a different file structure, make sure you edit the two lines above accordingly! Download link: https://ufile.io/l8mb7

That second script worked, thanks!

WCD Phyro started following Mission addons - shows mods as suggested instead of required and GPS needed to see party ESP
-
That should work, i'll give it a go a bit later. Thanks a lot, you're the real script master I have another issue i cant seem to figure out on my server but its not related to this topic, would you mind if i messaged you privately?
-
Thanks, but that didn't work, any idea why? Maybe under else setMarkerAlphaLocal should be set to 0? Edit: i had a look at the code and this actually hides your party's position on map, what i would like to do is disable party ESP (the hexagons around players in your party) so that it would only show if you have equipped a GPS.

Can AVS only be used with extDB3? Because i cant get it to work, this is where server launch gets looped: And i can't wrap my head around what the issue is... This is after my attempt on extDB3, spoiler above is the issue when on extDB2:

Hello, i'm setting up a DayZ vibe server and i would like to disable party ESP without a GPS, meaning players in the same party would not see each others ESP/hexagons without a GPS. Does anyone have an idea on how to achieve that? Thanks in advance!

There has to be a solution though (i'm looking for one too) as some servers managed to get random spawns working. In my server players only spawn randomly on one of the pre-set spawns (no option to select) but i've been trying to hide the damn spawn markers on map for days now with no luck...

Remove spawn markers from the map
WCD Phyro replied to BetterDeadThanZed's topic in Spawning & Load-out
Removing that will also remove the spawn itself, we wan't only marker to be removed. If all markers are removed, random spawning actually spawns you completely random - even 10 kilometres off the map in the bottom of the ocean... -
Mission addons - shows mods as suggested instead of required
WCD Phyro replied to WCD Phyro's topic in Configuration
I downloaded the most recent mission.sqm i could find (version 53) and edited it to my likings, inserted the addons i'd like to use, but its still giving me the same error. Its the same as before, everything thats bellow those 4: "CUP_Core", "chernarusredux", "Ryanzombies", "ryanzombiesfunctions" throws an error, and it does not matter in what order i add them, i tried one by one too and its always the same. Funny thing is i don't even have a "ryanzombiesfunctions" addon anywhere on the server, it was just said in the installation for zombies that i should add that addon into the mission.sqm, and it doesn't matter if i remove that or now, everything i put bellow zombies is always an issue. EDIT: if it makes any difference, my old mission.sqm was version 12 and what i described above was the error, so i moved the "addon" line out of class Mission and it worked, but mods were still showing as suggested and not required. -
Mission addons - shows mods as suggested instead of required

That actually helps a lot, everything makes sense now, thanks a lot. I'll try that later and post back to confirm it works if anyone else will encounter a similar issue. -
Mission addons - shows mods as suggested instead of required
WCD Phyro posted a topic in Configuration
Hello, I'd appreciate if anyone could help me with this. When connecting to my server, Arma 3 launcher shows mods as suggested/additional instead of required and I'm out of ideas what to do. Command line looks like that: -enableHT "name=Exile" "-profiles=instance" "-cfg=instance\basic.cfg" "-config=instance\server.cfg" "-bepath=C:\xx\User\18xxx\battleye" -ip=81.19.216.154 -port=2450 -filePatching "-mod=@CBA_A3;@Exile;@zombies;@CUP_Terrains_Core;@ChernarusRedux;@Extended_Items_Exile;@SMA;@enhanced;@NIArsenal@tryk_uniforms@NATO_vehicles;@ProjectInfinite" "-servermod=@ExileServer;@extDB2;@infiSTAR_Exile" -autoinit Mission.sqm addons: addOns[]= { "exile_client", "Ryanzombies", "ryanzombiesfunctions", "CUP_Core", "chernarusredux", "exitems", "SMA_weapons", "hlc_core", "TRYK_uniforms", "mas_vehicle", "bnae_core" }; addOnsAuto[]= { "exile_client" }; Is there anyplace else I have to call for addons? Mods that are being loaded by commandline are named exactly the same as mods folder names in root folder of the server, and the addon names are copied from @mod_name\addons\addon_name.pbo, keys are placed correctly too. Any ideas? -
