It would be great if you could introduce a cooldown between spawning on the same town. It sucks that if you kill somebody within a few km of a spawn town, they are going to parachute right back to you. It happens all of the time. Possibly "bypass" the cooldown if a user commits suicide, or dies within the city limits? this would stop complaints about dying from parachuting then having to choose a new spot. Thanks.

Ive always preferred this option over the whole "lose everything physical" approach, but 60% of the current exile population just want to slap noobs around.

How hard is it (i.e how much modification of code) to add CUP weapons, CUP vehicles, (instert popular AI mod here) and (insert popular zombies mod here) to Exile? I would like to host a small (20 person ish) exile Namalsk server (upon its release) but dont want to spend a ton of time setting it up, as I have full time work and part time Uni. I have coded before, but never in Arma. I havn't even looked to see what language it resembles, and would rather not dig too deep into it. Thanks.

Hi all. Before you say it, I know server owners can do this, but a lot of servers prefer to keep their loot closely to the default. So here's my (our?) wishes. Add "low tier" weapons (possibly from CUP) such as AKs, etc. Spawn more pistols, more submachine guns, and less rifles/snipers Make the "low tier" weapons MUCH more common than the "regular" arma 3 weapons SIGNIFICANTLY increase the prices of the majority of the A3 weapons (maybe excluding subs & pistols) Increase the prices (and increase rarity) of all optics. Nothing says "survival" like ironsights! This is a similar sort of direction as it looks like you guys are going with vehicles. Introducing a "lower tier" is great, but only if you make the higher tier harder to get hold of. At the moment I can roll up to a trader and get fully-geared for under 1k, which is pretty dumb for a "survival" mod. Edit: Doing a similar thing with clothing would be great too! more expensive military gear, less expensive civ/guerrilla gear. Thanks.

Ive found a few methods of glitching around infiniSTAR, the base has to be built in a certain way for most of them to work though. Its not safe.

I think everyone has misunderstood what this thread was about. On the subject of base raiding, maybe add some way to temporarily unlock all doors/safes for a set period of time (5 mins?) which could be activated by "hacking" the base owners flag. Use the 5 mins to steal and escape, base owner gets to keep their base (i.e no "base takeover" as mentioned above). Just an idea. I'd like to see more base raiding that doesnt involve completely destroying (or taking over) everything, making the victim leave the server.

F1! Nice to see you on the forums mate, we will have to catch up sometime. I 100% agree with everyone saying there isnt enough risk, and most players are asking for more risk, but this vote shows that the majority of the players want this risk to come from other sources rather than car keys. We are beating a dead horse here, the players voted no.

The players have voted, and they voted no. One person can shout as loud as they want, but the majority of the playerbase does not want keys.

If you could somehow make this to only find players with 8G turned on, and not find AI, then it would be amazing. You have my +1 either way.

Ok I know this is a silly one, but this is a "wish" list right? It would be cool if we could buy "gun paintjobs", either just bland colours or custom skins. I recall Arma 2 having a mod that had basic R/G/B presets for guns, that would be cool in exile. I can't really say much more on this, it's just something that would be cool somewhere down the line. Thanks.

I like every point except this one. Make it take some time, sure, but please dont introduce car parts. It was a great novelty in Epoch until you spent 4 hours straight looking for an engine part or a wheel. Ductape is already hard to find if you're stuck in the middle of nowhere, miles from the closest trader or industrial. This happens to us all of the time. Please try not to ruin non-pvp situations by balancing pvp.

I really dont think we need more guns similar to the ones we already have, what we need is lower tier guns! AKs, M4s, etc!

I agree but like I said, the majority of server owners won't take the time to completely re-balance the game, whereas if the devs did this, all servers would benefit

It's a fairly "unknown" feature among a lot of players, I don't even remember where I learned it from. Maybe changelogs.

I have mine bound to "U" because thats what it is in most "life" servers.

It moves up "slight gradients" i.e very low hills at a ridiculously slow speed.

I'd like to point out that you only need to enter a pin once per restart, and that the "lock/unlock" action can be bound to any key using "custom action 1" in the settings. Problem solved?

I don't know if this is even possible, I have very little Arma modding experience. I would like to see stronger buildings in Exile. I'm talking about the "static" buildings that are a part of the map, not the buildables. I think the best "immersive" experiences ive had in exile where when we have barricaded a building using the exile buildables, rather than making our own base. The problem is that 1 satchel charge will destroy most of the buildings on Altis (i'm not sure about Namalsk). I think these buildings should be MUCH stronger than wooden buildables, and would love to see improvements made in that area. Thanks for the consideration.

I would like the killer to recieve 5% money only. I agree the dead player should lose a small amount of rep, but I don't think this should go to the killer.

Title says it all. Will the "Preview Changelog" post be updated, or is that the final change list for the upcoming patch? I'm new to these forums and just want to know if it's something worth reading on a regular basis, or if there's no point in reading it more than once. Thanks.
