The question about building I looked every where for answers before posting here. I tried youtube, google other servers websites etc. Yes you are right it was a gameplay question rather then a server based one. This is why the title EXILE MOD CUSTOMIZATION was misleading to me. In fact I was trying hard to keep to the rules which is why I didn't consider that section as a suitable place to post about gameplay. The server issue I posted today, I have been searching for a high FPS server with some players and basic stuff I like for a quite a while at least a month actually and I haven't been able to find a place to settle on yet. Again this was a last resort to ask here. So I did try and have tried to follow the rules and do a lot of my own research.

And what your saying about servers at the top..... I was asking the community for servers with high fps. I dont think what you have suggested covers that. If I want to see what server is popular I can just click list by popularity or population in game browser or in A3 launcher. I wanted to know if people have experience of high FPS servers like the ones I mentioned which are so much higher performing then any of the other popular ones people. From your perspective it might be easy. From my perspective I have been trying to find a good server that suits my needs for a long time since my last one shut down. I have downloaded so many mods and trawled through all the popular ones trying to find a high FPS and I havent been able to except the ones I mentioned. Ok so this forum is not the place for this discussion, I now know that. But my question is a valid one somewhere else and it is not covered in the SERVERS section at the top as you have suggested.

I was just giving you my perspective. I did ask at the time. I was told it had been moved to 3rd party mods by a moderator or user. I just thought if a mod has moved it here then thats where its going. I didn't want to do make 'a mountain out of molehill' as you now are saying I am doing. I just kind of gave up on it after having it moved somewhere that felt irrelevant. That is a technical detail I didn't know.... Look this is getting silly. i meant no offense to you or anyone personally, I was giving feedback as an end user as I thought that's what this section was for. Thank you for clarifying this. Personally I dont understand the issue of players discussing servers but your house your rules so fair enough. I appreciate what you are doing and it appears that I was just unlucky that on the two only occasions I was looking for help with something here, my post was moved to the wrong place and on the second one technically I invited rule breaking without realizing it. I mean yes with today's post I did check my profile and it has vanished so this was a different story. All I was trying to do was give my experience on the only two times I have tried to use the forum, to maybe help improve something. I never called anyone out or was insulting to anyone or said anything unfair. I feel after your helpful responses that I understand it was just poor luck.

Interestingly, this for me shows that even moderators here are as confused as I am! As clearly described that post was placed in 3RD PARTY MODS, BUGS AND PROBLEMS! Not the forum you just described, so even fellow moderators differ on where things actually belong. Thank you for providing evidence supporting my post, it is appreciated from a moderator. Also the section you linked is under the heading sub forum of EXILE MOD CUSTOMIZATION. What that has to do with game play and building, I am not sure, so as a newbie here I just presumed that would be the wrong place. I stand by what I say that at least this is a very confusing for someone who doesn't understand that vector building is not part of exile basic setup. Ok so we have cleared this up in regards to the building post so thank you. In regards to why my post was deleted today do you have any thoughts on that one? Don't really get your attitude in the post, but I am too old to stoop to your level so please be as condescending as you like it is no skin off my back and if anything highlights other issues with the forum I did not even know existed but may contribute and play apart in what I am talking about.

Ok so seeing as you are a lot more knowledgeable than me please explain why my post was deleted today and how a question about building is suited to third party mods in bugs section? I don't see how what you just stated explains anything I spoke about above. I see what you mean about the hostile nature. I never noticed anything like this before and my post had nothing to do with hostility.

I am just giving you my opinion. The last two attempts I made to make posts here both one was moved somewhere that makes no sense, hence no replies and the second was deleted for no reason that I can understand with no explanation. i understand you have your rules and sections, just as a user I would have no idea where to post either of my totally harmless and legitimate questions explained above. How can a question for tips with building using stuff in native exile be suited to third party mods? If you all think everything is fine and working great then more power to you. I am just saying as a user I just kind of given up trying to ask questions here as I don't know where my questions fit in your sections and when I post them where I believe common sense says they should go they get deleted or moved. That is my experience with this forum and me just giving you some feedback. I think its telling that most exile communities forums I have been part of are as active as this forum seems to be.

I hope you can take this constructively. I love Exile, its a fantastic mod. The work the dev team has done on this has been fantastic and I find myself always coming back to play it. But these forums are just too strict for someone new or trying to get help. I literally have given up even looking for help here as I think legit half the posts I have ever made here are deleted or moved somewhere that makes no sense to me where no one would even look and hence I get no help or input. I made a post today asking other users for servers with good FPS. I got a pm about a server from a guy and I was very happy as the server is awesome but kind of low pop. As I have witnessed how strict this forum (have seen close but never have had completely harmless if not useful for other player posts deleted within 15 mins), I even said I have found a a server with very high FPS am I allowed to name it? When I came back to check the thread has vanished, no messages nothing just deleted. This forum is not that busy really. I just don't get why completely harmless posts are deleted or moved when they could be useful for other users? I am almost certain I did not break any kind of rule and if there are rules against what I said then I am bewildered as to why. It is not like you are being overrun with trolls and spam? I honestly don't see anything out of place or out of line in asking other users for help or server suggestions. There is no category for it.... Why create a great mod and then have the strictest most exclusive forum moderation to go alongside it, there are other posts from people saying the same thing, while I don't agree with their tone I honestly don't even think there is a point making a post here for anything not related to server setup or operation anymore. Last time I posted here I wanted some help with advanced building techniques. There is no category that fits it. I would presume that common sense would dictate that if there was no category for a topic to fit into then general discussion would be the place for it to be, especially when it is regarding general elements of the game and where to play the game? So to those of you who are in charge, as a user I am telling you this forum is a major turn away, not from the game. The game is great so I will play it as long as I enjoy it. But coming here for help ort just to be involved in the community just seems pointless for the reasons I have listed. The building post I linked I have absolutely no clue why it was moved to third party mods as explained, however the server FPS one, I mean, isn't it a good thing for players to help each other find good places to play? Everyone has different game tastes. For me FPS is no.1 prio, but for the majority it seems modded high pop servers do the best even with poor fps. That post could have helped others with my tastes and even the server owner to get a few more people playing his server he has put time, money and love into. How is there any negative to a post like this to deserve deleting it....? Sorry for the rant just think maybe people aren't communicating any of this with you as it would seem pointless. As I said it seems quite a lonely place to be in this forum, especially on the player side and I think maybe things like this are the reason why. This is my experience of using the forum anyway. I was going to go to the reddit but I looked and immediately could see DONT ADVERTISE SERVER HERE, DONT LOOK FDR PLAYERS HERE USE THE OTHER REDDIT etc. and just immediately thought this is just going to be the same moderation. Anyway that's my constructive criticism. Hope its not taken the wrong way and it can at least be discussed.

Not sure if this is the right place but I couldn't see any sub forums that suited it so thought I would ask here. I am trying to build a base with using vector building. I have seen some really cool bases with like a diagonal walk way going up at a 45 degree angle or steeper. Here is the start of mine: My question is this. I saw these bases with very tall walkway, like 10-20 floor pieces long. Does every part of this sky tunnel need to be placed manually? When I saw them they looked so precise that I just presumed you vector one piece in and then everything else can snap to it, however unless I am missing something in practice it doesn't work like this. Am I missing something, is there a easier way to build this other then manually placing every piece and having to line it all up. The big concern is more replacing pieces when I get concrete or metal upgrades form loot chests etc. Seems incredibly tedious. Would llike to know now before I get stuck into this. Thank you for any help or advice anyone can give,

sorry for necro but I literally cant fly a drone without someone taking it. I know there is a window where anyone with a terminal can connect to drone if you are not quick enough, but I am 100% sure there is a way people are taking them mid flight. I dont know how but it is becoming extremely frustrating.
