The Goal I have run a few servers in the past along with lots of play time in arma in general. I really enjoy the concept of Exile but my friends and I are not a huge fan of the high loot, no progression of loot. Meaning we don't like walking in a shed and walking out with a Lynx let alone choosing if we want the Lynx out of the other 3 guns in the pile. We want more low-end gear at the beaches and towns (sting, vector, shotguns etc) and military gear at military bases. As for the trader we would love a more dynamic trader that only shows up for x amount of time and either he only sells what has been sold to him or a limited supply in thus you still need to loot for what you need. We want roaming ai soldiers along with the mission AI, not zombies as they are pretty bad in arma 3. The Question Well are these things possible? I have an i-5 intel, 16gb linux dedicated box would that work for this or should I just get a game server from a host for simplicity(I know they are low on resources). I have considered getting tcadmin to make the management side easier. Would anyone be interested in helping?(Pretty low question I know, but any help is very appreciated)

Ah as for the post, I wasn't sure where to post it. As for the server I haven't found a server even somewhat close to what I described everything is high loot or militarized. And havent seen any good US servers with roaming AI. -
All the Pods and creeks are like a purple color. from dusk till dawn when the water is on screen the screen dims by around 90%. Is there a fix for this? This is the Chernarus_winter mod from the a3launcher. PS this does not include the water, its only the mods, lakes, creeks etc

I am looking for a co owner and manager to start a small scale community. Wait don't leave yet I know how this looks but I have all the pieces to start this community, little over a month ago I got the arma server(US East) web hosting and teamspeak server. I was planning to start a community and had a pretty basic server going, and well to be frank with working full time and being a father I simply lack the time required to do this alone. I need help. This appears to be dead as the link goes to a cd key site. I have all the free tools to do this, but I can't wrap my head around how it would work. I love role playing just don't see how it could be done in exile. Could so.e one try to enlighten me

Hello all I am interested in starting a server/community, there is all these servers with things we like but not one server with all of it. We are interested in starting a server for more or less us but if other come that's all the better. The creator is stepping away for life reasons. From what I've read the devs have moved onto new things. What's going to happen to exile? Has this been stated anywhere, I understand community members will continue to make scripts for the current version but what about in the long run? Sorry if this has been asked before or I may have it all wrong just couldn't find any information on this.

So this is the building code Im using. I changed it to look like the other lines. class CampEast : Military { positions[] = {{34.3047, 38.1162, 5.09924}, {0.0205078, 1.83984, -1.31195}}; }; but loot doesnt seem to be spawing there. Ideas?

Ive added some military tents to the map but loot doesnt seem to be spawning in them. They are the CUP tents. Which file would I add their name to so they will spawn loot?

So heres my line of code for chernarus winter, class Radiation { // 1 = enabled, 0 = disabled enable = 1; // change it to 0 and yre done contaminatedZones[] = { {{2165,14883,472}, 40, 150}, }; }; but when I go there there doesn't seem to be any radiation. the rest of the map settings seem to work tho like the temperature for example.

Ok something else that happens is when water is in frame. Once again just the lakes/ponds the screen dims by like 90%

Hmm I have that but missions dont seem to spawn any lower than like stary/novy sobor.

How can I choose where the missions spawn? Im on chernarus winter and they only seem to spawn up north I want them everywhere.

Im not sure if it is related to winter chernarus but when I crouch I just get locked and cant move/stand/prone. I can open inventory and look around, only fix is to relog or die. Any ideas? http://prntscr.com/dcaeef

I love this! I agree to one for your ammo,fire mode would be great. Also how does one turn off the default exile status box?
