Really? i remember GR8, with / when Betterdead and i went heavy over at Epoch site, Betterdead maybe still there tons but i am not. Just thought i would pop over and see whats new today, and volla this thread? I never knew it was such an issue. Fucking dicks

Too many issues for me, ill avoid this until its fixed. Not worth the 1.66 update.

True, but we have a ton of up and coming people in the community doing great work too.

Yup the community dies, then there goes scripts, mods, addons etc.. I guess it is up to the Dev team, what will happen with the site, and the code already posted. Or extension to another project, not arma related, to keep the mod alive?? in time they will tell us their plans.

Let us pray, that all of the exile fixes, and script fixes get updated. This way we can still have exile for more months. We all on board helping to figure out these next bugs? seems we can use a small, experienced team.

I am sorry, but i am getting mixed up is this vanilla exile post thread or other fixes for mods? if we can separate them to the correct forums ill have a better understanding what fixes work. @crunch is that a fix for exad or for exile to work with it? -21 hours and we have like 20 pages more, i see tons of suggestion code fixes, but not exile fixes.

You guys have done us so much with exile. Even if you guys do step away, open it up for us, the public to learn from at the very least. All of us would like to help step up and help the project continue. It would have to be a crowd funded project for sure. Open source. now fix the status bar will you!!! =D

Well putting a sale on most BI games, and having it break for some just doesn't seem right. But they are not in the business to know what other modders, scripters do. But are they? -Changing things that re-word code just to break something doesn't seem right either. But you know your BI code more then i do. It almost reminds me of changing your stop signs to Go... everything might crash.

Try adding 1 to line number so if it is items=43 add 1 and it should work. So item=44

Yes in many ways, pretty much everything at that level of design within theory have some similar ways. I personally like exile over epoch, but i can not bash 1 or the other. Exile is much smoother to my liking, and that includes mods working within exile. Both databases can have sticky moments. That is my personal opinion.

It is heavily modded for sure, but some of it is spliced to make it into a movie - hype. You can script most of it, but to get it opened to the public would hold maybe 20 before bottlenecking. AI with infected, with sharks, with all the rest might really hit performances, like he said. NO the ccg servers are not exactly setup with all those mods, scripts it will never function correctly to 60 people. but its still a decent server for Europe connections.

Well it stores approx 50 vehicle loads, or more and it is not making it realistic. I understand why it is done this way, just it is harder for pvp type servers with overloading limits. We want everyone to pvp not stick in PVe mode at thier bases with 10k items all stored in one area. So what do you suggest? Can you configure it or is it in the items code>

I believe so, somewhere it is hardcoded. It maybe the two //tanoa //tanoa which is causing loading issues if enabled. so napf? could be in the airport stuck do you think or is this some where else?

Thank you very much, everyone involved in this project. Without you guys there was no future to just epoch. It felt drained back in the day. Once exile came out everyone right away moved towards this new platform. Like everyone else in these forums, RL comes first. I hope you decide to continue later on, or open up the project code so we can learn from it all and make improvements to the community. Happy family comes first

I hate to bother you, but by chance can we modify each item like containers. They are huge, i can put a mountain inside the concrete bunker. It is going to be abused in PVP type servers, so i need to reduce it some. Others maybe the same. On that note, i had to take some of the very large items out of the game, due to the size and possible placement that cant be removed or moved. Such as domes, airport hangers etc. Otherwise amazing mod it will be cool seeing some of the bases. I just need to tweak the way they can be blown up to fit with exile's building-crafting mode. Right now on test server we have them setup to purchase, but i would like them in the full crafting menu eventually.

I hate to ask, i know your busy on your projects. But do you remember where to move a static blue mission? i got one stuck at the airport inside a building. It is on tanoa. Just haven't seen where it is located in the code. Its right by the radio tower, building not accessible.

I think we will be on our own, but we have permission now to modify it. I havent had the chance to continue to work on the modifications. Thanks Lunchbox, all code from you will be mentioned inside my PBO files regarding the ExAd App.

Find your location link and if you placed everything in the correct spot. Usually ends up someone didn't put in the correct files in the correct locations or someone moved it to a custom mission folder. Its all about path.

Cross reference with Exad, just incase it is related. i got even left taru's outside the building 2x spawning and blowing up. They where saved into VG. something is saving to the database and the database is restoring backwards.
